If taken at face value...what a dip shit.  If he means he will use it as motivation and make the veteran work super hard to win the starting job...well I will have to see it to believe it.

I don't think he meant what everyone thinks he meant, but still, a super awkward statement from someone trying to rehabilitate his leadership/communication skills.
