You know, the more I look at this list of potential candidates the more I wish we would have kept Spielman and given him a chance to pick a new coach and keep some stability within the organization. This team was literally 3 or 4 plays away from being a double digit win squad and in the playoffs. I'm ok with them moving on from Zimmer as I think a new message was needed at the head coaching position, but Spielman was really a victim of Zimmer being unable to get this team over the hump because the ingredients were there.  I've disagreed with Rick and the way he conducts his business sometimes, but he has also assembled some really talented players. It is such a huge gamble making a complete overhaul of the organization and more times then not it goes badly.
