Cousins and JJ were on fire today and really played all out, one of the best games I have seen from Cousins, hung tough in the pocket all day and was spot on all day. It was a shame to lose a game with these two amazing performances. If the defense played with 1/10th of the effort that these two played with, we would have coasted to a win.

DETROIT — Another day, another record for Justin Jefferson. In Sunday's 34-23 loss to the Lions, Jefferson set the Vikings' franchise record for receiving yards in a game with 223 on 11 catches.
It was the first 200-yard performance of his young career. He now has 22 games with 100-plus receiving yards, tying Anthony Carter for the most 100-yard receiving games in franchise history in just his 46th NFL game. Jefferson has 1,500 receiving yards this season with four games left. Randy Moss' single-season yardage record is 1,632. Carter holds the franchise's postseason record for receiving yards in a game with 227 against the 49ers on Jan. 9, 1988. Here are the Vikings' 200-yard receiving games in the regular season: 223: Justin Jefferson, Dec. 11, 2022 at Detroit, 11 catches 210: Sammy White, Nov. 7, 1976 vs. Detroit, 7 catches 204: Randy Moss, Nov. 14, 1999 at Chicago, 12 catches 202: Adam Thielen, Dec. 24, 2016 at Green Bay, 12 catches 202: Paul Flatley, Oct. 24, 1965 at San Francisco, 7 catches 201: Sidney Rice, Nov. 15, 2009 vs. Detroit, 7 catches https://www.startribune.com/justin-jefferson-vikings-record-receiving-yards-in-a-game-223-lions/600234943/

You can also add about 35 yards and a TD to his totals today. That play they blew dead when he was never down and never stepped out of bounds was complete bullshit.

The refs can just suck out loud sometimes. Unreal.
No sacks for Minnesota. The run game was atrocious. Every opposing QB looks like a Hall of Famer. Issues to work on.

Wow, wasn't even aware he broke 200. Seemed like just another JJ day. I guess that's how good he is.
