5:00 minutes left in the 4th quarter.....

and the Vikings don't have any timeouts left. How the fuck does that happen? No chance at all for a comeback without timeouts.

Time for a change without a doubt.

Lol. Clock management is an issue as usual. I am so over this crap

When folks are saying so many missed opportunities every single week you know it’s a coaching issue. In 2017 when the team needed a big play you could bet one was coming. Nowadays when we need a big play, it’s almost the complete opposite

We were not out of timeouts cause of poor clock management, it was because our defense didn't show up, especially the DL and our OC did not take advantage of our talent on offense, so we had no choice but to call them early down two scores.  You can't keep getting inside the 10 and then getting conservative, play calling was awful all day.  We did one short drop quick pass that worked beautifully and then went back to everything being a standard deep drop.

We took all of our timeouts right before the 2 minute warning...?

Zero killer instinct
Zero creativity
Zero possibility when the play breaks down or is countered well

Give me a QB who wants to show his killer instinct, who can extend plays with this legs

Givr me a coaching staff that goes for the kill, that innovates vs reacts, one that doesnt shake when they make play calls

A mediocre football team is harder for me to root for than a bad one.

Finishing with 7,8 wins just sucks. Thats the kind of season I perennially wish on GB/Chi/Det/Saints.

I never felt the Vikings were out of it (till the end) and never felt they were going to win today either. They sure had their chances too.

You must have despised the last 8 years of Bud Grant VikesBall:

77   9-5
78   8-7
79   7-9
80   9-7
81   7-9
82   5-4 (strike)
83   8-8
84   7-9

Just a reminder....Smile

Those were my (and prolly your) "formative years --- late HS/early college football Vikefandom" years

I dunno....years like 98, 01, and 09 were special, fo sho.

The thing is....we Vikefans rarely have to suffer perennially bad teams.

This season has been frustrating

After taking last year off as an NFL fan....I've actually enjoyed the challenges this year.
And to think.... if we somehow beat the Pack & Bears (sweet enough, by itself-- sweeps, both) we could eke into playoffs.  I've enjoyed the season.

I,  and many are getting to the point as fans that we want more than an entertaining season,   we want that ultimate payoff for a lifetime of following one team.
Imagine if they aired the curse of oak island for 40+ years,  but they never found a treasure,  every damn episode is dangling the gold in front of you,  teasing you with the prospect that after every commercial break something is going to happen that you've waited years to see..... but then after a 30 second windup.... a 4 minute commercial break...and then a 30 second recap... its just another fucking button.

Or as Zimmer has so aptly put it... enough about the labor,  show me the fucking baby.

Our fan trophy cases have enough participation ribbons,  we need some hardware.

Just one year, I'd like for the Vikings to not be the team thats the stepping stone for another teams glory...

GB has been dominating the division for too long.

Dont ask for much, just one year where they win it all before I meet the maker.

1977 was a long time ago.

I'm sorry for Mike and the fan-base he couldn't do it here.
