Questions

Has anyone heard anything about the status of Everson Griffin? Obviously his health comes first but I get the feeling that his openness about being bipolar, and his willingness to accept help,  might mean he will be medically stabilized more quickly than last time. Any word?

How about Thielen? Cook’s labrum? Darrisaw? So far it’s the sound of crickets from the organization— but that’s not new.

Probably wont hear much until mandatory releases from the team.

I am not expecting AT back for MNF....Have no idea about Darrisaw. I think I hear ISM is out on Covid protocol now and so we're going to be VERY THIN @ WR if thats the case.

Probably know more at the end of the day. I suspect Cook is fine and just resting. Everson is eligible to return this week. No idea why he wouldn't, but there's a lot of stuff to untangle there. Darrisaw didn't practice on Wednesday so that's a bad sign. If he doesn't practice again today, he's probably out again.

Mike Zimmer on the Vikings' wide receiver room: "We're still hopeful that Adam [Thielen] can play" on Monday night. "K.J.'s done a nice job, Smith-Marsette might be involved this week."

Dalvin Cook says he’s not wearing the harness around his left shoulder because he’s experiencing any pain or soreness. He said it helps to keep him upright and his shoulder “where it needs to be.”

Bears’ veteran LT Jason Peters suffered a high-ankle sprain during last Sunday’s game vs. Packers and is out indefinitely, per HC Matt Nagy.

Peters, 39, will not be placed on injured reserve at this time, per Nagy.

Their ol has been putrid. This won't help.

And their right tackle is out with Covid. And their backup right tackle is out with Covid.

Line has moved from -3.5 to -5.5

Still wouldn't touch it.

With the third string RT out there, like to see if Willekes can bust out something other than a bull rush.

I know this will melt some peoples brains,  but looking at the draft order,  right now we sit at 12,  a win would potentially drop us to about 18,  now I know we all talk about draft position doesnt mean anything,  which we all know is BS otherwise teams wouldn't be willing to give up so much to move up,  but as it sits,  right now a win would drop us the equivalent of a 3rd round pick if we were wanting to move back up to that 12th spot.

I am not saying I will be cheering for the bears or hoping the Vikings lose for draft position,  but if they do lose,  I will not be nearly as bothered by it since this teams fate is IMO inevitable,  and a win only lessens the opportunities of building a better roster for future teams.
