Regarding the existing “Studies” on ivermecting regarding its use for covid.
https://www.bbc.com/news/health-58170809
Dr Kyle Sheldrick, one of the group investigating the studies, said they had not found "a single clinical trial" claiming to show that ivermectin prevented Covid deaths that did not contain "either obvious signs of fabrication or errors so critical they invalidate the study".
Major problems included:
- The same patient data being used multiple times for supposedly different people
- Evidence that selection of patients for test groups was not random
- Numbers unlikely to occur naturally
- Percentages calculated incorrectly
- Local health bodies unaware of the studies

It is not an anti-viral drug. It MAY have some anti-viral properties that need to undergo clinical studies. As of right now that isn’t ready to fly. And that is talking about the HUMAN dose and form of ivermectin. NOT the fleet farm version of ivermectin that people are using.
On the other hand we have vaccines. They have undergone all the clinical studies. Have gotten full use authorization now, are free, safe, and incredibly effective.
However if you feel that you want to roll the dice and ise something else good luck to you. I have many friends that are in healthcare that are just about sick and tired of people showing up, abusing them for not being able to save them after refusing to get a free vaccine that billions have taken with extremely low side effects. Especially compared to those that have opted for Ivermectin and HCQ.
I really do not want to see anyone die. Nor any one of their loved ones. It is likely that everyone in this country will get covid at least once. Those that have gotten vaxed are fairing much better. Very few deaths compared to those that haven’t been vaxed.
As it goes for this site I will be removing any and all posts that are pushing for people to take ivermectin or HCQ over a vaccination. I will not let this site be used to push quack and kook information that coukd result in people dieing.
Don’t like it? I don’t care.
If ivetmectin did anything for respritory viruses farmers would have figured it out 4 decades ago. Corona virus has been in cattle since time began so there would have been all kinds of oppertunities to figure it out.
Growing up on a dairy farm and living on a horse farm we’ve had unlimited times to see that it works fantastic for parasites and hasnt ever done a damn thing otherwise.
Even Mayo doctors have acknowledged that there is evidence that warrants further study of its use in attacking covid. Not saying its a cure, game changer, or anything else, just that it's use to date has show enough successes to see further studying. It's should also be noted that it is part of a cocktail of drugs and vitamins, and is being given early on before the virus has a chance to really take hold. My understanding is its not a stand alone treatment
I am in no way advocating its use by individuals,, and certainly not the animal product version, but if a mayo doc says its worth a closer look I will side with that vs what somebody hears on the evening news or from the internet.
Im all for studying a cheap drug for an expensive problem. Its ludacrist to be going to tractor supply and self medicating because facebook said so.
You talk about that like it was common place or ever part of a discussion. Pretty disingenuous to keep bringing that nugget back up, its kind of lost its cleverness considering the overwhelming evidence showing that the drug is not just horse medicine. The health benefits of oats in your diet is well established, do you see many people going to the elevator for oats to eat or do they just buy oatmeal?
Honestly I think the people taking the animal drug is likely more of a fake story than true, I dont doubt its happened, but not likely near enough for the story its created.
It IS happening. Animal feed stores literally had to put up signs telling people to not use it for covid. Poison centers have been dealing with it.

It was so bad in some places, Rolling Stones had to make up a fake article on it as well.

I have seen warnings for animal health products against using them on humans lo g before covid, that is nothing new.
Restaurants all over the country started hanging warnings all over their drive throughs and stores after 1 woman spilled it on herself.
I am just curious how much is hype, and how much is real.
And as far as the real ones... what is one of the few things Barr and I agree on? Oh yeah, rip of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
Another choice coming to market....These results are nothing short of extraordinary if accurate and hold up to peer review.
Pfizer says COVID-19 pill cut hospital, death risk by 90% By MATTHEW PERRONE Associated PressNovember 5, 2021 — 6:45am
Pfizer Inc. said Friday that its experimental antiviral pill for COVID-19 cut rates of hospitalization and death by nearly 90% in high-risk adults, as the drugmaker joins the race to bring the first easy-to-use medication against the coronavirus to the U.S. market.
Currently all COVID-19 treatments used in the U.S. require an IV or injection. Competitor Merck's COVID-19 pill is already under review at the Food and Drug Administration after showing strong initial results, and on Thursday the United Kingdom became the first country to OK it.
Pfizer said it will ask the FDA and international regulators to authorize its pill as soon as possible, after independent experts recommended halting the company's study based on the strength of its results. Once Pfizer applies, the FDA could make a decision within weeks or months. If authorized the company would sell the drug under the brand name Paxlovid.
Researchers worldwide have been racing to find a pill against COVID-19 that can be taken at home to ease symptoms, speed recovery and reduce the crushing burden on hospitals and doctors.
Pfizer released preliminary results Friday of its study of 775 adults. Patients who received the company's drug along with another antiviral shortly after showing COVID-19 symptoms had an 89% reduction in their combined rate of hospitalization or death after a month, compared to patients taking a dummy pill. Fewer than 1% of patients taking the drug needed to be hospitalized and no one died. In the comparison group, 7% were hospitalized and there were seven deaths.
"We were hoping that we had something extraordinary, but it's rare that you see great drugs come through with almost 90% efficacy and 100% protection for death," said Dr. Mikael Dolsten, Pfizer's chief scientific officer, in an interview.
Study participants were unvaccinated, with mild-to-moderate COVID-19, and were considered high risk for hospitalization due to health problems like obesity, diabetes or heart disease. Treatment began within three to five days of initial symptoms, and lasted for five days. Patients who received the drug earlier showed slightly better results, underscoring the need for speedy testing and treatment.
Pfizer reported few details on side effects but said rates of problems were similar between the groups at about 20%.
An independent group of medical experts monitoring the trial recommended stopping it early, standard procedure when interim results show such a clear benefit. The data have not yet been published for outside review, the normal process for vetting new medical research.
Top U.S. health officials continue to stress that vaccination will remain the best way to protect against infection. But with tens of millions of adults still unvaccinated — and many more globally — effective, easy-to-use treatments will be critical to curbing future waves of infections.
The FDA has set a public meeting later this month to review Merck's pill, known as molnupiravir. The company reported in September that its drug cut rates of hospitalization and death by 50%. Experts warn against comparing preliminary results because of differences in studies.
Although Merck's pill is further along in the U.S. regulatory process, Pfizer's drug could benefit from a safety profile that is more familiar to regulators with fewer red flags. While pregnant women were excluded from the Merck trial due to a potential risk of birth defects, Pfizer's drug did not have any similar restrictions. The Merck drug works by interfering with the coronavirus' genetic code, a novel approach to disrupting the virus.
Pfizer's drug is part of a decades-old family of antiviral drugs known as protease inhibitors, which revolutionized the treatment of HIV and hepatitis C. The drugs block a key enzyme which viruses need to multiply in the human body.
The drug was first identified during the SARS outbreak originating in Asia during 2003. Last year, company researchers decided to revive the medication and study it for COVID-19, given the similarities between the two coronaviruses.
The U.S. has approved one other antiviral drug for COVID-19, remdesivir, and authorized three antibody therapies that help the immune system fight the virus. But they have to be given by IV or injection at hospitals or clinics, and limited supplies were strained by the last surge of the delta variant.
Shares of Pfizer spiked more than 9% before the opening bell Friday.

So this thread popped back up lol...
We cannot purchase ivermectin for animal use because humans have bought all of it for their facebook prescription. We were able to obtain a couple doses from valleyvet but needed to provide them with the farm documentation (in our case LLC) showing that we're an actual place of business.

Bet that was an uncomfortable purchase.
