Watching Mills, Fields, Wilson, etc.....these rookie QBs...
#1
...just getting annihilated. They are getting hit, sacked, strip sacked, etc. constantly. How does the organization expect them to ever develop with that kind of heat and pressure? I actually feel bad watching it.

The Bears pass blocking has been atrocious and they're not moving the pocket. They're going to get Fields killed.

Some of these front offices are dumb as hell. You get a high draft qb and put him behind a shit OL. That's absolutely ridiculous. I hope Wilson is going to be ok.

Which is why you build the OL first and then go looking for a QB,  amd even then you should likely have a bridge QB for a season or 2

Works for me. Last thing we need is Fields to develop into a decent QB

Remember what I said after the draft? If the Bears are smart, they will play Dalton and let Fields sit a year. But the Bears are morons. They will be tempted by idiot fans and media to put the kid in there before he's ready and they might actually ruin him if they do so.

It pisses me off, but the Packers are doing it right.

In related Bears news, congrats go out to the Bucs' Donovan Smith and his family, who celebrated the birth of a 6-5, 255 lb bouncing baby son yesterday...

I thought it was dumb to put Fields in already but the Bears are going to be the Bears. The Packers have Aaron Rodgers so there is no reason to put Love in.

Not sure how serious the injury to Dalton was?

Yah, Nagy caved too early imo.

And to Jimmy's point, yah ideally you'd have an OL ala the Bucs in front of a rook. But they did what they needed to last draft. The list of Bears starting QB's since McMahon rivals the list of the Vikings.

C'mon PF....

Harbaugh, Kramer, McNown, Miller, Grossman, Cutler, Trubisky, Fields...

Gannon, Moon, Johnson, Cunningham, Culpepper, Favre, Ponder, Teddy, Cousins...

No time to look it up but I'd say that's two MVPs, three or four passing titles and about a dozen Pro Bowls compared to, I think maybe, zero?
