I like Daboll and Moore. With Bieniemy, I think that's mostly Reid's offense.

Curious to see what the offense looks like against Carolina. Does Zim finally get the message? It's been sent to him a few times now over the last few seasons without him really getting it. Or he gets it, but is too stubborn to listen.

wasnt he quoted,  shortly after he was hired,  as saying if he fails he will do it his own way,  he wasnt going to let outside pressures weigh in on his coaching and play calling? (paraphrasing here obviously)
What scares me about that quote is that I believe Childress said the same exact thing.
Yes, I have often posted that Zimmer is the defensive equivalent to Childress -- both stubborn old men.
Childress had AD and Favre and screwed that up.  Childress was a fraud, spoke of accountability and allowed Favre to run the show.  And then sent players to beg farve to come back.

Zimmer's players like playing for him.  They come back for backup positions and cheaper deals.  The results in the season haven't been there, but at least he seems to honestly care about the players.
No disrespect, but I am not sure you can say Zimmer keeps the players accountable.  Breeland's play and off the field actions and yet he starts.  Dozier's play last year (and thank god he came back for a backup position and a cheaper deal).  Jefferson hardly saw the field until Bisi was injured.  O'Neill didn't see the field until Hill was injured.  And lets not forget Newman's mutiny.  https://www.sbnation.com/2016/12/26/1408...-game-planhttps://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/post...snt-add-up.
I didn't say that, I said childress hammered on that and was a fraud.

I would wait and see what happens to Breeland this week.  They just returned to practice and Zimmer said they would handle it.  Not everything needs to end in "cut em".  Breeland was an idiot, but he quickly deleted it.  I think Zimmer at least treats the players fairly and that is why they like playing for him.

As to when players play, I really am in no position to call the coaches wrong.  I don't have any vision into practice, their grades, why decisions are made.   Did Jefferson warrant starting coming in as a rookie with no offseason?  That is a tough call to make.  O'Neill was a raw rookie project and Hill was a serviceable veteran.  Why is that so hard to believe?  Dozier is a blemish, but our o-line has been crap for quite a while, so Dozier isn't the only issue there.

Well, I don't know if it is all flowers and champagne with the players.  Diggs forced his way out.  Ellison's father certain said some less than stellar things.  Dantzler clearly has been upset.  Rudolph clearly criticized Zimmer (https://www.cleanbowled.in/sports/kyle-r...ke-zimmer/).
