Where is the President?
Anyone even mentioning the stupid Trump deal as at all relevant to today, is pushing nothing more than a pathetic straw man argument. It in no way is applicable to anything that happened with this nightmare.
That “deal” was DOA as soon as the Taliban reneged on it. Joe Biden had no reason to follow it or even pay attention to it - which he didn’t. Any mention of it in regards to today is nothing more than obfuscation and a worthless attempt at not taking responsibility for epically horrendous decision making.
So stop with the “Trump plan” nonsense, it’s not an argument. Ok, with that talking point obliterated, let’s get down to reality.
When Joe Biden made his announcement last spring, the Taliban prepped and started a massive offensive around May 1, beginning with outlying areas. They battled with the Afghan military and the Afghan military took 45,000 casualties over the next couple of months. Contrary to claims made then, the Afghan military did not continue to receive active US air cover. Nor did they receive intelligence or active surveillance. It was cut off, at this time reportedly at the order of Joe Biden (this is not clear yet). Essentially, the United States abandoned the Afghan military while they were in a dogfight, for the political purpose of moving out the US military by order of Joe Biden. Through July, the US military moved out as did the majority of US on the ground intelligence.
In July, Joe Biden had a call with the President of Afghanistan, where they discussed the rapidly deteriorating situation with the Afghan military. It was obvious at this point and Biden was informed, that the Afghan Army was falling fast and the Taliban would control the country within a couple of months tops and possibly much sooner. Joe Biden then attempted to get the President of Afghanistan to put a spin on this information in order to keep the political optics that the situation was fine. In my opinion, this act constitutes a clear act of Joe Biden working solely in his personal political interest and not that of the US or Afghanistan. In my opinion, it is a dereliction of duty by a US President on a level never seen before in our nations history. Joe Biden and his administration would continue to push lies from this point forward, for political purposes. He believed, wrongly, he could still complete a military withdrawal (his sole focus), before a collapse.
Fast forward weeks. The US military has drawn down. Limited actions other than calls and messages saying it would be a good idea to leave the country are disseminated. The calls are not widely heeded for a number of reasons, one massive one being the administration continues to lie about just how dire the situation is. The Americans in country have no idea just how bad it’s getting and how little time they have. At this point, Afghan partners have limited knowledge that a collapse is imminent.
The Capital falls in weeks at no big surprise to US intelligence. The Afghan military has folded due to lack of support from all sides and taking heavy losses. It is claimed that “no one saw it coming”. This is a complete lie. Joe Biden knew for months about the rapid deterioration and only responded by trying to hide that fact from everyone possible. At all steps moving forward, he would make decisions that went against both his military leadership and intelligence leadership (who saw the dire need to pull their people in July).
Hello cluster fuck of epic proportions. Caused almost exclusively by the decisions made by Joseph Biden. Much of the rest is common knowledge. Biden orders the process of leaving the country to be the opposite of what is recommended to him, and the opposite of any rational human being would recommend. This necessitated the need to bring back military to protect a massive time limited air lift with a single airport available (Bagram was given up because Biden would only allow enough troops in country to protect the embassy). Again this was done against all recommendations.
The airlift would happen with insufficient time to get all Americans out and few Afghan allies. There are roughly 80,000 (or were, hard to say how many are alive today), and an unknown number of Americans. Again the number of Americans is a lie. There are far more than the hundred claimed. Just going through media reports you can find far more US citizens trying to get out than the State Department is claiming are there.
The United States of America, leaves Americans purposefully behind in a war zone for the first time in history, to my knowledge. The US’s reputation is damaged worldwide and likely permanently. All due to one man and one man only. Joe Biden made all the reckless calls and is 100% responsible. Untold mental health damage has been done to our current and retired veterans. Future ability to recruit at all levels of foreign service will likely be permanently damaged due to distrust. It is almost impossible to fully get a grip on how bad this is for our country. Only time will tell how many and how bad of wars this will lead to in the future. Any student of history understands that the damage that’s done is incalculable.
Joe Biden should resign immediately or be impeached. He will go down as the worst President ever and by an incredibly wide margin. In fact, no single person has done more damage to our country at the worldwide level in our entire history.

I will simply add, the Taliban offered the US the opportunity to control Kabul after the president left.  Our leadership declined.

Biden is getting heat from everywhere, including a way more liberal news site in CNN. I hate that I had to choose between the biggest dumbass to ever hold office (Trump) and a super liberal and weak candidate like Biden.  :/

Hard to call Joe Biden super liberal considering he's been Liberal Lite most of his career.

I have Russia collusion feel about this.  Not saying that there arent right wing elements involved... just that suddenly there is this wealth of information,  maybe the people that were tasked with looking into hunters laptop will get assigned to this as well and it all goes away?

So they still claim Parler and Gab are dangerous, but most of the planning for the "insurrection" on Jan 6th was done on Facebook.  Many times more than Parler had.  And Twitter can't stop child pornography on its service, ignoring it even when reported.

So embarrassing details?  How about those details?
