They gotta bounce back after 2 rough losses
#11
I'm not into moral victories or making excuses, but this loss doesn't bother me as much as the first loss.
I only ask that the Vikings are competitive and look like they could have just as well won as the other team.
Despite some of their usual flaws and shortcomings, they had their chances against a pretty good team. Yes the defense was bad. But there is at least some ray of hope.
Losing to bad teams like the Bengals is totally demoralizing.
That's about as positive as I can get right now.

Wont be easy. Glad this next one is a home game.
Love to see someone find optimism after another loss. But truth be told, Vikings should be 2-0.

I’m sorry but people saying, “we should be 2-0!” are just suckers. Those are happy thoughts you have with young teams and young coaches. We are neither.

Vikes played great today and lost to a better team. Vikes played terrible last week and lost to a worse team. This is a roster constructed to “win-now”, and it can’t.

Yes, this is a win now team....that isn't winning. These 2 losses are brutal. Could have been wins. The team must be very deflated after this. The guy rips 2 50+ yard FGs and shanks a 37 yarder. Its unreal. There is certainly criticism about some play calling, but to those fans that are mad at the coaches for expecting Joseph to hit a 37 yard FG after showing in the first two games he's been money, its not a fair argument.

Is this a win now team? Seriously with the moving parts on OL once again and a very weak secondary? I am not so sure it's a win now situation. Maybe they thought it was a win now but because they are still a work in progress I'm not seeing it. Also they are 0 and 2 and the schedule is not going to get any easier.

They won't. Seahawks and Browns. I am seeing 0 and 4.
Homer. What makes you think we're going to beat Detroit?

Not a damn thing. I was only thinking next 2 games.

It's funny if Joseph makes that kick, we're all singing a very different tune (as we should be).  The Vikings played way better than I thought, but I agree I'm disappointed in the D (and kicker).  This looks to be a slightly above average team with another kicker we can't ever trust.
New season, same old Vikings.

There is a positive I take from this game: the Vikings are a good team. After the ridiculous showing in Cinci, I had some doubts about that.
