What a clusterfuck of conservative coaching and QB'ing

We had a time out and 20 plus seconds, there is no reason you dont try for more yards there. Zimmer is better than average but his gut is often wrong.

Im about ready to let coach Dre get his shot for the rest of the season. The Wilfs have been patient, but after 7 years,  its getting close to time for a housecleaning.  Good is the enemy of great.
They aint going to do anything this early and probably not for the entire season - unless he just loses the team.

I dont think that'll happen.

I think the bottom line for me is that Zimmer has won - what? 2 playoff games his entire tenure here?

First 2 games of the year, both on the road, and cousins has 0 turnovers, puts up 24 and 33 points.

Defense and special teams are why this team is 0-2.

Too many mistakes. Nothing's changed.

That decision looks ok, until you look across the field and see Kingsbury and Prater, another mistake by Zim.

I was like Prater is going to make that kick. Ugh.

we gave up 420 yards. Turnovers and the defensive TD, is the only reason we were in it.

Yeah i dont see him losing the team. I am just hoping( like a fan)  Dre could give us the little push over the top. Z is so close to being a great coach, but i dont think after 7 years he gets any better.

I dont think any of us is overjoyed with the play of the D so far - outside of Hunter...We'd be talking about it for sure, but not pointing as many fingers at em if we were 1:1.

No doubt that 0/2 sucks big time. It's reminiscent of last years bad start and these guys haven't won even a pre-season game so far.

They did show more resilience today than I thought they might.

Is he though? He keeps making the same mistakes. Clock management and offensive philosophy. Is he learning anything new or stagnating. I cut him some slack in the beginning after all the eye surgeries and losing 2 qbs to injury but now it just seems like the same shit different day. Cornerback whisperer? I am feeling that is not as legitimate as when he first started here. The revolving door of offensive coordinators is an issue as well. I feel like they are hitting the wall.

it was a terrible decision from the get go. they knew Prater was their kicker. they knew they had very fast receivers, they knew they had Murray. so why give them a short field? I just dont get it. If a casual fan can see these things on Sunday afternoon how come a staff that has a week to prepare not know this? the run off at the end before the kick was just terrible
