JFC. Could they have been farther away?? I couldn't tell if it was good or not until the refs raised their arms.
So nobody wants to talk about the camera angle on the Joseph FG??

You're right. I remember thinking to myself, wtf?

Blimp cam would have been further

Speaking of that, how can there not be a camera looking down the line in the end zone? It was an obvious TD.

Yup, complained of that myself.

Why in a billion dollar industry in billion dollar plus stadiums isn't there a standard camera package that ensures that all angles are the same in every facility? Especially in the era of reviewing the calls on the field? Put this one with GPS for deciding ball placement and first downs.

Quote: @JimmyinSD said:Exactly. I believe it's simple. The NFL wants to keep the human error in the game. If anything it is true to tradition, but I really believe it's about the ability to have games be swayed in different directions. Why are no NFL refs responsible to speak after a game to the press, answering questions like they do in soccer? The NFL doesn't want any responsibility when it comes to officiating, if they did, they would have fixed these issues years ago. We have a fucking pylon cam ($$, instant replay, highlights) but can't have every end zone have designated goal line cams where you would have seen that Jefferson's torso to head is NOT 1.5 ft long. It's a joke

Having no “human error element” spoils the plan, you know, as said above…the plan being that the refs are going to influence or determine certain games. It’s getting like WWE. For example, does anyone think that Brady was going to lose the first game of the year in front of the home crowd playing on the sacred field where the only home SB victory in NFL history occurred? Pushoffs directly in front of refs be damned…he was not going to lose.

Also it seemed like 99% of the penalties that were called in that game, did not have any kind of replay for us to see what happened
