Don't tell me about the labor, show me the baby

That's what it comes down to for Zimmer and Company. Changing punters, getting Mannion back, looking like warm dog shit in the preseason, etc. Its all fine until its not. Week 1 at Cincinnati needs to be a win. This isn't some kind of unwinnable game on the road. Their QB is coming back off of major surgery and its just his second year in the NFL. They won 4 games last year.

A win and this uncertainty that I feel right now as a fan will mostly go away.

I doubt the uncertainty will ever totally go away, even holding a 17 point lead late in the 4th quarter of the Superbowl.  That said, we've seen very little of our actual starting lineup in preseason, and desperately need to see something to scour the memories of 202 out of our minds.

All the offseason vaxx/injury updates have largely made things harder on the Purple People, regardless the realities for the team.

Should deliver a beat down to the lowly Bungals. Zim will want to D them up big time. Need to wash that 3rd worst D in franchise history taste from his mouth. Pray for Joe Burrow. Hunter out for blood and a big pay day.

Agreed. A dominant (or even just solid) defensive performance would be so awesome to see after last season. I’m excited to see Hunter back out there. Kendricks. Wanna see what Pierce can do. And I hope Barr is out there too. I’m pumped for some Vikings football.

50-0. Anything less is a disappointment

Vikings need more than a win. A 3 to 7 point win is probably not going to do anything, not in my mind anyway.

Vikings have one of the best rosters in the NFL. I want to see a performance equal to the talent on the roster. If we do, this game shouldn't be close.

Winning is never easy in this league, especially on the road. And it's week 1 for god's sake. If they sneak out with a 15-14 victory because the Bengals' kicker misses a last second chip shot field goal? I'll take it! (esp. 'cause it probably means Jospeh hit on 5 of them  :p =) )

Yes, I'll take a W also, GV. Just hope the team looks decent.
