Griffen and the LS are back on the team.

p.s. looks like Colquitt as well.

Pretty good sign to not see Christian Darrisaw, Dede Westbrook or Anthony Barr designated to injured reserve. The belief seems to be that all will be back sooner than the 3 games they'd have to miss minimum would they have been put on IR.

Like Griffen and DePaola, punter Britton Colquitt is expected back with the #Vikings very soon.

All indications I've got is that Britton Colquitt will return to #Vikings in the same manner as a vested veteran that Everson Griffen and Andrew DePaola returned. He doesn't have to go through waivers.

If Mannion comes back here, I'm going to be pissed. Seriously.
I'd take him or Siemeon over Browning in a heartbeat.
Agree. First, do no harm.

Just to keep everything straight in my mind, Vikings are signing Colquitt onto the roster and into the space created earlier today by cutting Colquitt.

Doesn't it feel like they are just f'cking with us sometimes?  Next thing you know, Dozier will be back on the 53 and starting.

I could be wrong but I know that vets signed after the final roster do not have their salaries guaranteed.  I'm guessing that's what these moves were all about today.  If we cut Colquitt..or Griffen..we only pay them for the time they play.  Basically..they're now on prove it deals.

That rule applies after  week 1: https://www.profootballrumors.com/2018/1...antees-nfl

And they would still get a minimum of 25% of their (prorated) base salary if they got cut before they had been on the team for 25% of the games.

Geez, Mannion as our vet backup for our "if I die, I die" Martyr.

Good grief Charlie Brown is Covid Lucy going to pull the ball away from us again????

This is the worst preseason I can remember from a vibe standpoint.  But it is only a small sample size of about 45 years.

Good news is we have the Bengals and a not even a 90% Joe Burrow.
