And the babying of Cousins continues.  Never seen an average player get pampered like Cousins.  Griffen was right on, no need to apologize.
Cousins didn't ask for an apology, Griffen is offering one up. I know its tough on you, but Teddy doesn't live here anymore.
28 starts
28 TDs

Maybe JR is a big fan of symmetry.

I get that, I do

but

Would you say that Teddy teams were more talented rosters than the 18, 19, 20 teams?    Really?

All I know is that when on good rosters, Teddy does well. He wins. With New Orleans he was 5-1 as a starter.   I believe the one loss was a game the Saints reated their starters Can he lift a bad team up? Probably not, but he also will not drive a good team down.

He is a trustworthy guy who was developing before his knee injury. He won on the road, was loved by his teammates, a key piece on a stacked team.

Kirk isnt a leader, seems to split a locker room and is a mercenary.

I have never, nor would I ever argue that Teddy is better than Cousins. He's not. Nor did I argue that this team should've found a way to keep Teddy. It was impossible, given where we were in our window, and where Teddy was in terms of his health and contract. Signing Cousins was absolutely the right decision, and yes, win/loss record is largely irrelevant in a team sport. Mitch Trubisky has a much better win/loss record than DeShaun Watson.

That said, keep in mind Teddy's 28 TDs in 28 starts were his rookie and 2nd seasons, on a defensive oriented, run-first team featuring Adrian Peterson. So that's a bit unfair too.

I think this Bronco team, with a good line and some good weapons, is the first time since his knee exploded that we'll get to see who Teddy really is as a QB.

Here's the bottom line: he did fine with the Saints starting.....but they still didn't commit to him. So what does that say? They now have the finger eater and the circus sideshow battling in New Orleans for the starting spot. Carolina got rid of him and is paying him money to start for the Broncos, actually more than what Denver is paying him to start.

He's an AWESOME kid. But a very mediocre QB and its not just me saying it, its the NFL.

We'll see this year. By the way, the Saints couldn't keep Teddy anymore than we could have. It was a mathematical impossibility due to their ridiculous cap situation.

Yeah, I think they still had some terrible QB they were committed to for tons of cap.

5-0 is fine?   The Saints were in a QB bind commiting a billion to the corpse of Drew Brees.
Teddy stepped in and kept a super bowl contenders season moving along smoothly.

A mediocre QB?  yet another team anointed him a starter.

I am not saying he was a great QB but he was absolutely good enough to produce the W-L results that Team America Doll Cousins has as a Viking for a 1/3rd of the cost and 100% less drama.

Ask Zim who he would rather have as QB, i bet the house it is not 8#

If Teddy is a legit starter, why didn't Carolina keep him? Somebody explain how he didn't last there vs. a Sam friggin Darnold...
