This pandemic has made public health a political issue which is really harmful and divisive for our Democracy.

Our social media has been over run by our enemies who want to see our democracy fail.  Russia, China and even the Taliban can use information Warfare much easier and better than any billion dollar weapon we have stockpiled.  Divide and then Conquer is winning...again.  Hope we can prevent history from repeating itself but the Coup attempt is not a good sign.

One of the reasons I changed my opinion about making high speed internet an infrastructure priority.  Look at these discussions and you have people that when presented with laws, chemistry, math or physics, say “they don’t need to know that stuff to be an informed” authority on a topic.  They are informed by finding “facts” on the internet vs having to do a literature search or having to do any academics into the foundational theorys.  If someone can post a link to a study or paper and profess it supports their position f’ing good enough.  That’s what gives me a bit of hope for the future, the millennials and beyond will have a great example watching boomers and X’ers flail away without natural or structured filters to deal with the fire hose of information.

Yeah, the false hit job on 45 by the press for three years with no evidence amounted to a coup.  Agree with you there.  Not a good sign.

The argument saying the vaccine isn't safe, because nobody knows the long term safety, is stupid. It's not even a salient point right now.
I am a Vietnam veteran and always question the government. But there is no denying the effect covid has had on the US. Even if you think covid death numbers are inflated, due to whatever unsubstantiated theory you wish to believe in, the numbers of people who died of covid are staggering compared to those who died of influenza.
Those that die of influenza in a bad year is 20 to 30 thousand. For covid it has been around a half of a million. It is magnitudes worse.

The short term effects of the vaccine are known thanks to brave people who volunteered to take the vaccine in studies. The short term affects have shown a very effective vaccine. Much more effective than the influenza vaccine actually.
Yes there have been a handful of people who have died from the vaccine and some who have suffered long term side effects. And that is terrible. But the vast majority of those vaccinated have been afforded protection from infection in most cases and protection from severe disease in breakthrough infections.

It is true, the government mismanaged this pandemic. But it also did rapidly bring us the solution; vaccines.

It's time to put politics and conspiracy theory aside and face reality.

Which long term side affect would you rather deal with? The ongoing pandemic? Or the minority of side effects from the vaccine. You can't have both!

Inch-ish on the big side.  Microscopic on the small side. The big problem in horses is it got significantly over used (monthly) in the 90s and there are resistant worms niw days. For the dipshits eating it. It breaks down in your liver and to the best of knowledge was never meant to be a daily dose type thing. Even Merck is warning against using it. 

Ivermectin is an antiparacitic. Its for internal and external. Sheep specifically have an ivermectin dip very similar to what youd put on your dog for flease (….not sure if it’d work on flease?)

thats why i posted it,  one side cant see the lunacy of their claims,  and only points out the lunacy of the claims of the other side... you decide which side I am referring to.  ( you will be correct either way.)

I get that there are fringes on both pro vax and con vax, but can you really find evidence of lunacy on the pro vax side?   I really dont see the equivalency here. 

i have talked to plenty on both sides of this issue,  trust me,  there are those that are failing to exhibit common sense when it comes to both sides of this issue.   

i dont mistrust your word or experience, its your judgement in this issue. “Both sides “ is a false equivalency. its not that there are no Kooks on the pro side, its the weight of evidence and acceptance of far fetched theories by the anti’s that makes them reckless and dangerous.

Radicals on either side of an issue create distrust by those of a differing view point and the brow beatings that follow only further the speciation and harden the resolve.   I dont see the hard-core view points to be productive  for about anything.
