An excerpt:

Offensive Line Minnesota’s offensive line had an up and down performance Saturday, highlighted by their strong performance against the run. The Vikings averaged 4.2 yards per carry and were led by guard Kyle Hinton, who earned a 78.5 run-blocking grade.
The unit was not equally strong against the pass, allowing nine total pressures and three sacks. The group overall earned a respectable 68.6 pass-blocking grade, paced by guard Dakota Dozier, who didn’t allow a single pressure in 16 pass-blocking snaps en route to an 83.7 pass-blocking grade.

Makes me wonder if Lock wins the job in Denver, will the Vikings try to bring in Teddy? If he's a backup, then he's probably the best backup in the league. Problem is twofold: contract and he probably wins the starting job in Denver.

Anyone else out there? No free agents worth a damn or they'd be in camp. But maybe a trade target? Gardner Minshew, Marcus Mariota, NIck Foles, Taylor Heinicke, Nick Foles...probably the most likely is Sean Mannion or Trevor Siemian.

You know it’s bad when people want Mannion back.

I think this sums up the back up situation.

[Gruden] asked Tom [Moore, the Colts offensive coordinator,] why he wasn’t giving some snaps to Peyton’s backups…He looked at us both in the eye, paused for a moment, then said in that gravelly voice of his, “Fellas, if ‘18’ goes down, we’re fucked.  And we don’t practice fucked."

Read recently that speculation was Jax asking a 5th or 6th for Minshew. If true (a big if) the 6th acquired for Hughes is sitting there. Mannion? I'd rather see a Ron Vander Kelen comeback...

I think with all the chaos of this offseason, we've really been underconcerned with Kubiak as the OC, both in terms of getting the offense prepped, and then also playcalling.  I think a slow start for the offense could very well be in the cards.

I think Mond will start looking better as things start slowing down for him, but right now we're fucked without Cousins.  Those guys aren't accurate at all.  I'm not sure if a veteran backup makes sense, or if we just start looking if Cousins gets injured.

What is actually available for a backup at this point? And what is the likelihood of finding a competent backup? I don't think there are many if any options.

I'm surprised that Stanley hasn't gotten any snaps given how putrid Browning has been.
