There were 312 qualifying offensive linemen (played at least 20 snaps) in this weekend's games per PFF. Dakota Dozier's ranking?...... 312th.

But unfortunately the Vikings still have love for him.

Maybe 480 CBs had at least 20 snaps, and Henderson was 480th.

Davis needs to really out play Dozier.

I don't see a path for Dozier. Last year the Vikings kept 9 OLs. If they keep 9 this year it will likely be....

OT: Hill, O'Neill, Darrisaw
IOL: Bradbury, Cleveland, Udoh, Davis, Cole

They can keep only 9 again because Udoh and Cleveland can play tackle and Cole can play both guard and center. If they keep 10, I think the 10th is either Kyle Hinton or Blake Brandel, but both could go on the PS too. Dozier and Samia play one position only and there are four solid, more versatile, players ahead of them in Cleveland, Udoh, Davis and Cole.

Sounds like Brandel is playing himself onto the roster as our swing tackle.

Just read that he played 100% of the snaps on Saturday. Never left the field. And graded over 70 on the PFF scale. I guess if Udoh is going to be a forever guard, it makes sense that Brandel would be the swing. However, what happens when Darrisaw is in the mix? Hill's the swing. Do they keep both? Just further argument that it's a tough path to 53 for Dozier and Samia.

It's funny how the OL is suddenly one of the deeper units on the team. Don't know how good the starters are yet, but there's definitely depth.

Guess they worry about that once Darrisaw gets there.

And not only do we have depth, but lots of youth as well.
