So how do you frame this debate?  Will Dakota just be a bad memory after Tuesday roster trimming, or are there some pictures to be revealed?

Lol...

There is no debate to be framed. Dozier truly sealed his fate yesterday (I think).

and no, I find no joy in that. I dont want to throw shade at our players. But the ones that can't grade well? Cause us big problems like a bad OG can?

They gotta go.

I thought Davis showed some good mobility for a big guy...I am hopeful!

I havent even seen Udoh play the position yet but I can say without a doubt I'm more then content having him or Davis start with the other being the primary backup. I know Zimmer isn't a fan of playing young guys early but the alternative is truly frightening. Samia and Dozier need to be gone.

Not advocating or corroborating but this is how ESPN saw it (typos included):

More than anything, Saturday's loss exposed the Vikings' depth issues across the board. Dakota Dozier, who seemed like a good fit for a backup guard, was replaced by rookie Wyatt Davis four drives into the game, and Davis and was instantly pushed back into quarterback Jake Browning. Minnesota's linebacker depth, which drew criticism from Zimmer last week, is still lacking. Both quarterbacks who played -- Browning and Kellen Mond -- totaled 79 passing yards. The backups in the secondary are still inexperienced, which should make the Vikings feel extra good about signing veterans Patrick PetersonBashaud BreelandMackensie Alexander and Xavier Woods to man starting roles. Saturday's loss was ugly. The silver lining is the Vikings now know where they stand with their depth and can make adjustments moving forward as they begin to cut down the roster on Tuesday.

But from Zone Coverage:

Watching this game me wonder just how the Vikings got a single victory last season trotting out Dozier at left guard. On the first passing down of the game, Dozier was pushed back into Jake Browning on a play that resulted in an incompletion. The veteran guard’s day didn’t get much better from there. On the next drive, Dozier was flagged for a holding play in the endzone, which resulted in a safety. What might be even more embarrassing is that all of this was done by former Viking Shamar Stephen. Last season Stephan could barely muster any pressure, and on Saturday he was looking like Aaron Donald.
The Vikings need to trim the roster down to 80 players on Aug. 17, and Dozier should be one of the names on the cut list. He was by far the worst offensive lineman the Vikings fielded on Saturday. He struggled with allowing pressures and was flagged twice. While the case for him staying would revolve around his experience and understanding of the offense, Dozier yet again proved he is not only a below-average starter but also a below-average depth player. With Oli Udoh making a case to be the starting right guard along with Wyatt Davis’ impressive NFL debut, the Vikings no longer have a need for Dozier on this roster.

I don't think it's much of a debate, but in my mind the framing is that this is more damning for Dozier than it is promising for Davis.  Dozier was playing against higher caliber players, so that tempers my enthusiasm for Davis a bit.  I will say that I'm a bit disappointed to not see Hill and Udoh though.  I'm not sure they earned a day off and could probably use all the reps we could give them.
