Completely disagree. Why do you say that? Because he didnt look great? If thats the bar then no one on the team should have played

EDIT- Further, would anyone rather see empty Nate Stanley reps if he’s gonna be cut in 2 weeks? I genuinely see zero gain in that.

I’m glad Mond got to play. When behind by 27 points I don’t think the team was expecting him to perform miracles. It got him in and gave him some realtime reps. I don’t see hiw this game can damage his psyche….

Dozier, on the other hand, may need to be on suicide watch…

Did any Viking come play today?

Patrick Jones II
Rose - RB

List ends there.

OL, secondary and ST start off like they left off last season - bad.  I know we held out a ton of starters but our 2's, 3's did not play well at all vs the Broncos 2's and 3's.

Only 1st preseason game but unwatchable.

Not because he didn't look great. Because he didn't look comfortable.

well you dont get more comfortable by sitting on the sidelines. needs reps. best reps are game reps to get better

He was already because of the time he missed. Maybe this is a wake up call.

Yep. This isnt a David Carr situation where he is thrown out there for 3 seasons with no OL. It’s a zero pressure, down 20, against the 3s situation. He’s gotta be out there for that, and even tho it was 75% handoffs, I thought Mond did fine.

Browning looked Mannionesque in his limited time. In your opinion should he have not been playing also?

Couldn't disagree more. The best reps at his stage of development are in practice. Yes, eventually you add game reps to those and you develop even more, but it was clear to me he wasn't ready for that. Those 10 missed days killed him. He'll bounce back though...assuming he gets a solid week of practice in this week.

Not much to take from this game...zero starters played, lol. What sucks is from 'a fan at the game' perspective. Was complete and utter garbage to pay to see that yesterday. If some fans want to try and judge any players from this, I say don't waste your time.
