Part of me thinks we will really struggle and its going to be a long game. Parts of me also thinks that we will win by a bigger margin.
I guess I have everything covered from an expectation standpoint lol

For some reason, I'm feeling a 49ers Monday Night Opener. I really hope not, but that's my feeling.

Right now I have this impending feeling this first game of the season is going to describe the entire season. If they win, I see a pretty good season ahead of us. If they lose, another long season of being let down.

After watching the preseason sleep walk, I don't think I'd be confident in this team even if they were set to play my high school football team. I guess I'm pretty down on this team right now. A big win with not many yards and no TDs for Mr. Peterson could restore some of my faith, but nothing less than that.

I am feeling this is the longest half day of work ever lol. As far as the game is concerned, I feel like they will be hyped up but need to settle into the groove of the game. The start time is throwing me off though.

Quote: @Clanzomaelan said:I agree, I am not feeling very good about tonight. The first teams have not done well this preseason, plus I just feel like something is off with Zimmer and his command/control of the team. I guess they will need to prove to me that they are something different than the 3-5 team that closed out last season before I start feeling good about them.

The Seahawks and Giants were beaten primarily due to poor offensive line play, and I suspect the Texans and Bengals suffered the same fate (though I did not see those games). I fear the Vikings will be next: we have shortchanged that unit in both talent and coaching for so long and there's been no evidence beyond wishful thinking that it has been improved.
