He's said this every offseason he's been here, and it never happens.
This will go down in the "offseason chatter" hall of fame, right next to "Adrian Peterson is gonna catch more passes" and "Matt Kalil finally feels fully healthy".

"The Jake Browning Show was created when rookie Kellen Mond, who has been vaccinated, tested positive. Cousins and backup Nate Stanley also were sacked as unvaccinated players who had close contact with Mond."

Vaccinated players can catch it,   vaccinated players can transmit it,  but healthy unvaccinated players get jerked off the field for getting exposed while those that were equally exposed play....makes perfect sense.

Also why would it just be the exposed QBs?  Wasn't mond in close contact with the rest of the offense and coaches this week?  Or what about extended contact?

This policy is retarded and completely void of logic. I am not anti vaccine but this is just plain stupid.

I think there's some possibility that the policy made some amount of sense pre-delta variant, if you assume that vaccinated players prevent tranmission of Covid.  With that assumption looking like it's no longer holding true, if it ever was true, I imagine they'll have to make changes.

It's designed to try to get stupid players refusing the shot to act smart inspite of themselves.  It's not void of logic, it just utilizes a logic which tries to make guys do what the NFL wants.
