Mr. Mankato poll
#1
Barrnone posted the odds, but I have added a couple of options.  Please include your reasoning.

Davidson is an enigma.  Athletic and big with soft hands and good speed.  That TE room is filled with potential (ISJ, CONK, Dillion, Zylstra, Davidson)

Zylstra has that simple Mn homegrown, AT, lightning gonna hit twice thing going for him.  Plus the local Harley Davidson crowd.

I added the last 4 as they were not included on BarrNone's list.  I am told KJ has been impressive so far this offseason and I can recall him making some spectacular catches last offseason.  I was surprised that he did not get any run last season but that seem apropos for how the Vikes handled last season.  Udoh also didn't get any run last year, not even in week 17 which I thought was a huge mistake.  He ran with the 1s today.  Dye had a bad season last year but has the physical talent that he should pop if the light turns on.  Hinton is my dark horse player.  Vikes called him up from the practice squad near the end of the year and I think he could surprise.

That being said, I am choosing Osborn.  Even making the roster would be a big surprise to many.  Also, as a skill player, he has more opportunity to shine.  Bynum would be my second choice, followed by Jones and Robinson.

It's a longshot, but I'll stick with Davidson. Just a feeling I got after watching his clips after the draft. He's huge, moves really well and catches the ball with his hands away from his body.  Gonna have to learn to block though. Hinton is a good addition to this list. He was my pick for sleeper of last year's draft so I was pretty stoked when we drafted him. Washburn grad (wherever that is), so he's got a long way to go, but the fact that he was called up late last year was a good sign.

3 TEs on the list of possible Mr. Mankato; could make it difficult for one of them to shine enough.  The Vikes seems to be good at spotting TE talent; maybe that will start to rub off on spotting OLine talent.

I think it actually might be Jake Browning.

The trait that is the easiest for me  to see in rookies that show up on the field  is straight speed.

Vikings 2020 were slow and needed guys that can get to the edge rushing (Nwangwu) or deep 3rd @ WR (ISM)

Nwangwu weighs 210lbs= He's not a smurf
