In the last 24 hours Twyman shot, Frank Clark arrested with uzi, and Cardinals first round pick arrested. And the nflpa wonders why teams like to control players in off season.

I just read that. Scary situation. Wishing him all the best in his recovery.

Wow, remember when Lynval Joseph got shot in 2014, it’s tough being a Viking DT…

Wow, just spent two weeks in DC.  I like the place, you need to be aware, but sure seems like you can avoid trouble if your not looking for it.  But then again I am not 24 years old with a pocket full of cash.

I lived in the DC metro area for a few years. It is an amazing place, but it's also easy to take a wrong turn and end up in areas that are not so great. Then again, guns are everywhere.

I hope he is back to full strength physically and mentally soon. That had to be a pretty traumatic event for a young man (well, anyone) with everything ahead of him.

Prayers up for him that he can get past this. That’s terrifying. It’s a scary world.

Gun violence is just the accepted norm in this fucked up country.

Vikings’ rookie DT Jaylen Twyman was shot in the arm, leg, buttocks and shoulder, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus.. Twyman is expected to be released from the hospital this week and “there doesn’t appear to be any long-term injuries that would prohibit him from playing this season.”

Is Twyman going to give up his current life and just walk the earth now?
