I can see why they were high on him.
He seems to say similar things and his mannerisms, to me, that mimic Cousins...pause, but still feel like the right choice was made. I think the odds of Cousins remaining are higher with a reworked contract. With that being said, it's time he makes the contract good for both sides. If not, he will probably be shown the door via trade.
