My wife's company went through it 18 mos ago...

Now the entire pricing structure for fuel could get thrown out of whack in this country. 

This is just the s hit we're reading about, I wonder how much is happening we dont know of yet?

Agree, but how do you stop it.  People are the weakest link and people are stupid. 

BIL works at GoDaddy.  At Christmas time, as a test, the company (from a non company email) sent out an email that said people need to "register" to receive a $600 special bonus with their user/password info.  60% of people who ARE IN THE INDUSTRY clicked the link and entered their information.  Then some were pissed that they weren't getting this special bonus. 

There was a study done a year or two back where .gov dropped usb drives outside .gov offices.  It was somewhere in that 60% range of drives got plugged into .gov computers. 

You could make your firewall/front,side,back door openings and impenetrable as they can be and some dipshit will still knowingly or unknowingly circumvent it.

Agreed people are a big issue...

I do think there is opportunity for infrastructure improvements and making sure we win the tech race vs China/Iran/NK/Russia as well. 

No, not blindly supporting all of the Biden $1t plan, but there are elements in it that deserve prioritization. Like this one.

unfortunately thats the type of infrastucture mendacious mitch and the gullible old party won’t support, and calls it waste.  let the private sector, like google or microsoft fix it.

Attended some security seminars on IIoT and flying under the radar is a very lucrative and successful form of corporate espionage.

Yep. Just like embezzlement. Many people get away with it. If you can keep your mouth shut, don't get too greedy and stay under the radar, odds go way up of successful criminal activity.
