That's like the false-equivalency grab bag.  You left out that the state is selectively taxing gun owners, and you left out why the 2nd Amendment exists...and it ain't about drilling Bambi.

This is obviously beyond you, or you're happy being a good little pet statist.  I'll keep that in mind going forward.
It's like, but it's subtly different, therefore correct.  Target shooting, collecting and hunting, did I leave out being available for the militia and the protection of the state.

The only thing I am beyond is buying into your BS quivering fear of the oppressor state.
Don't mistake it for fear, sparky.

Like I said, you were wrong before...there is legislation targeting gun owners and the firearms in question.  This, if it proceeds, will lead to exactly the kind of confrontation that should worry everyone in the country...particularly because many sheriffs and the grand majority of our military will NOT stand against the citizens.

So, the treasonous twinks on the left are trying to instigate a shooting war with the armed members of our society.  How's that gonna end, when their own armed services won't answer the call?

Like I said...it ain't fear.  It's legit outrage at misuse of power, and it's easy to see likely bad times ahead.
It would be easier to dismiss the fear of the oppressor state if they didn't make their hatred of freedom so obvious.  And if the founding fathers didn't just throw off oppression so they could implement that freedom to protect ourselves from tyranny.
Between the two of you, I think you have enough for a good elevator manifesto.  Just a little work, Greed the concept man and Zanary with his grammatic expertise and prowess, what could miss, crowd source the message and you could have your own social media outlet.  Go all in boys, I'll give you $5 USD (in a yet to be determined Nigerian cryptocurrency).
What's funny, here, is that you try to ridicule...but your central point was complete BS, disproven by actual facts.

All your babble is proven worthless by reality.  Congrats on posting, y'know, meaningless junk...I guess...?

And what was the central point, putting product liability and owner accountability on the table.  Or is it just you just have gun fetish, trying to make up for some inadequacy or fear.

Your central point was that "they weren't coming for the guns", but they have and did, and still are.

You, like everyone babbling that BS, are either woefully ignorant or intentionally lying sacks of s**t.  Not sure which, in your case.

I'm kinda wondering how a gun manufacturer is supposed to know the minds of all their customers...and why anyone would support statist idiots that punish the gun owner LEAST LIKELY to be involved in crimes while also, inevitably, being soft on actual criminals...but I guess one can just look at the voters in various districts and find the moron herds.

Are you F'ing kidding, what has been rolled back since DC V Heller.  What the f^ck are you babbling about, and why are you such a victim.  When has all this happened to you, the most enlightened of all internet authorities.  Enlighten me motherf***er, what has been taken by whom, and correct my grammar if that keeps your stiffy aroused and you on point.

If the manufacturer has no clue what is in his customers mind why should they not be held accountable for providing increased lethality to an unregulated population.  What do you mean by the punishment of the least likely?  What your rant points to is no discrimination between the  "least likely" and the "actual criminals".  Just make it as easy for one as the other to be armed in an unfettered way, so that's just on you, so own it, quit being such a whiney victim.

Simple question, so should be in your wheelhouse, where do criminals get their guns for making you need more guns to protect yourself?

Har!

Damn, sparky, are you crying?  You come across like a kid that's trying out profanity in the middle of a bedtime tantrum!

It'd been kind of a blah day, but now...that's funny!  Much better!

Here's a review, because you apparently need it:

1.  It has nothing to do with me, it's about American rights being trampled on...and, again, I gave examples of the legislations involved. Chicago was infamously tight on gun regs, yet is always top-3 in violent gun crimes.  Meanwhile, dumbasses want to just throw more laws and regulations that aren't aimed at the actual criminals...but tax and/or limit the options for legit gun owners under the premise of "crime prevenetion".

2.  Murder is already illegal, which is apparently news to lefties thinking that there's somehow a missing law/regulation involved.

3.  Legit gun owners commit a minority of gun crimes, yet the laws punish them for crimes they're unlikely to be committing.

4.  I'm actually ALL FOR gun education, as there used to be shooting clubs/classes in schools when...wait for it...there weren't all these mass shootings.

5.  To add to that, every time there's a mass shooting, some babbling political dumbass goes on TV spouting froth about new laws he/she wants...but almost inevitably can't define the differences between auto, semi auto, single shot, revolver, magazine, clip, etc.

6.  Victims, my tearful little boi, are the ones that just lie back and take it...very prominent in blue states, by the way.  I call what I see, and I'm working in a city where generations of horrible, leftist policies have crimes raging, a whole neighborhood held hostage last year, violent and property crimes surging, and the DA basically giving a free pass to misdemeanors.  This kind of rampant, politicized stupidity is ruining many American cities...with years, now, of stories regarding stepping over inert junkies on sidewalks and the homeless defecating in business entrances.

People sitting still for this, allowing and empowering it, are both victims and traitors by any meaningful metric.

Anyway, find a clean hanky and have a pleasant evening!

Highlight #4.

And #5, there are already so many laws on the books that aren't enforced.  So the "new laws" garbage is just pushing the envelope.  And it isn't just the criminals in a ski mask, but those in the designer masks in DC that the 2nd amendment is meant to protect us against.  Tyranny.  It isn't a new thing, but it is suddenly becoming popular again.

I was asked about solutions.  Threw three suggestions out there, first was shared databases for background checks.  Second red flag designations with less red-tape.  And third was the removal of liability protections for sellers and manufactures.

What's your solutions, tax rebates for gun ownership?  Consider every one a "legit" owner till they aren't and will that always be determined after the fact?  More gun clubs, should that be mandatory and attendance be part of the ownership?  If you don't like where you live, leave, it seems to be making you bitter.

Still haven't answered where the criminals get the guns.  You can rant about about your own apparent conclusions, it just make you seem fearful and irrational.  When did "they" come for your guns.  If we went back to pre Heller V DC standards would that get us back to the society you want?

Take care Zippy, hope you enjoy your self pleasure.
Reply

Shared databases and red flags could help, but if and ONLY if they are not politicized.  Due process gets shoved aside in the supposed pursuit of safety...and stripping someone of their defensive options for less than solid reasons isn't how the law is supposed to work.

You talk about leaving if I don't like it, yet it's the left pushing these changes.  I exercise my right to push back against that filth, and I do so.

The criminals get most of their guns via CRIMES, just look at Baltimore and Chicago (two cities with generations of leftist "leadership", look it up).  Homes and stores robbed, criminals killing each other.

Funny, most people know that.
