Tom P on NFL network just said the Vikings are making calls for a move up scenario for a sliding OL.

This would make me happy. But I also like vending machine sandwiches, so you can see the bar is already low.

Falcon taking calls for Julio down by the schoolyard.

Hopefully they won't have to. Bengals go Chase, and the Pats move up to 8, and things start to look much better for the purple guys.

The #Falcons have received calls from teams inquiring about possible trades for All-Pro WR Julio Jones, sources say. A trade could not happen for cap reasons before June 1, but teams know Atlanta’s brutal cap situation and are calling. A deal won’t happen now, but later? Maybe.

Unsung hero
Elerson Smith, Northern Iowa: One evaluator said Smith (6-foot-6, 252, 4.75), who has a 41½-inch vertical jump, has the ability to bend around the corner much like Bryce Paup (6-foot-4, 245, 5.01) did for the Packers, Bills, Jaguars and Vikings. Paup came out of UNI as a sixth-round pick in 1990 and went on to make four straight Pro Bowls and notch 75 sacks. Smith had 28 sacks in three years, including 14 in 2019, but lost the ’20 season when the Missouri Valley Conference canceled its season. Smith is much better rushing the passer than playing the run.
Scouts’ nightmare
Janarius Robinson, Florida State: His height/weight/speed numbers (6-foot-5, 262, 4.69) are top-notch. So is his arm length (35¼) and hand size (10⅞). But it just didn’t happen for him in Tallahassee: 42 games, 28 starts, eight sacks. Scouts appreciate his effort and sincerity. Some team will seek to unlock his potential.

Sincerity? That's a term you hear thrown around a lot in regards to NFL talent and potential.

LMFAO...

I'll post a mock on Thursday but my first iteration where they went up for Sewell wasn't a fluke. Vikings have been interested in moving up and have been talking with teams (all the way up to ATL) for weeks. What I don't know is if they have Sewell or Slater as their top ranked O-lineman. I've heard it both ways.

Man, moving to #4 better be for Sewell.

I can't disagree with that. And really? They'd grade Slater as high or even above Sewell???

You know Pitts would be worth it too, but obviously they wouldn't do that for a TE.

Moving to 4 would be a kings ransom.
