Don't get me wrong, Sewell would be a sweet get,  but considering he would be replacing the best piece of our OL from last year I dont see him, especially as a rookie,   being that huge of an upgrade and really moving the needle that much,  at least not as much as a top tier OG would make over Doziers play.

2 firsts and a 3rd is a lot for an OLman,  even for one that is supposed to be a generational type for his position.  How much better will he be over what will be available at 14 or even for a smaller jump up to say 10?

I have a feeling, dispite the recently signed extension, Rick might have received a mandate to make a deep playoff run. There's one player available in this draft worth spending additional draft capital on. Sewell makes the entire O better. 

Sewell will need a beat to get maximum impact, but the day 1 effect will be palpable.

No doubt...would love to have him. But the result you see from Sewell would also happen with Slater...and maybe even Darrisaw and AVT. 

I'm really close to moving over to DJ's Team Slater. Watched more of him earlier this week and, oh my, his movement skills are special. And while it's not likely, there's a middling chance he's available at 14...or at least within cheaper trade range--say, 10-12.

Slater wont be there at #14.  To get him you're probably going to have giving up your 2nd next year in a small move up. 

So hypothetically:
Sewell's cost would be '21 #1, '22 #1 '21 or '22 3rdSlater's cost would be '21 #1, '22 #2 and probably a lower pick this yearDarrisaw might not even be there at #14 but I wouldn't trade up for him.AVT, if you draft him, either he or Cleveland need to play LT or you need to go sign one left on the FA market. 

I don't have a dang clue what the right move would be.  Our offense doesn't stand a chance if we can't figure out how to block people.  One thing I'd say about "once in a generation" talent is that Kalil was supposed to be good and Bradbury was supposed to be one of the best centers in several years.  Kalil was a train wreck and Bradbury while serviceable hasn't exactly been a barn burner.
