Where you guy's getting all this insight on prison life? I have a niece that works as a guard in a place where they use a lot of medications. She shared a story about the garden area, how rabbits would hang around and was no big deal. One day a Hawk swooped down and just obliterated one, the place went wild, guys freeking out, had to clear the yard, sounded like very volatile situation, PTSD from working there.

I have a friend that is a former LEO, whose wife was a prison guard. I have another friend that is a county sheriff.
So did Maxine "Murky" Waters just throw a wrench in the whole thing? Judge Cahill denied the request for a mistrial but gave a good tongue lashing to her and said the defense has a built in appeal if she tainted the jury.

You serious, if that was the case how many convictions would have been thrown after the last admin./friends twitter fusillades.
Don't know anything about country music. Have no idea who Dierks Bentley is, but as a big U2 fan, and an even bigger Dr. King fan, I loved this. Not sure where to put this, but here seemed appropriate.

“ We're looking for a guilty verdict and we're looking to see if all of the talk that took place and has been taking place after they saw what happened to George Floyd. If nothing does not happen, then we know that we got to not only stay in the street, but we have got to fight for justice," she added.

How so?
Doesnt sound so incredibly different then: “walk down to the Capitol,” adding, “You will never take back our country with weakness.”
Hell one politician got impeached over words not so incredibly different.

Chauvin trial judge says Maxine Waters' 'confrontational' protest remarks could fuel appeal
The judge in Derek Chauvin's murder trial in the death of George Floyd criticized recent comments by Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., saying her words could be grounds for the defense to appeal a verdict.
Waters, who has long been a lightning rod for criticism from the right, was already facing a torrent of Republican criticism for her comments over the weekend urging protesters in Minnesota to "get more confrontational" if Chauvin is not convicted. Several GOP lawmakers called for her expulsion from Congress.
Chauvin's attorney asked the judge to declare a mistrial over Waters' comments, arguing that she had prejudiced the jury. Judge Peter Cahill denied the request but said that Waters' comments were "abhorrent" and that she may have handed the defense a lifeline anyway.
"I'll give you that Congresswoman Waters may have given you something on appeal that may result in this whole trial being overturned," Cahill said as arguments concluded Monday and the jury began deliberations.
Can't ever remember a Judge giving a side their appeal grounds. Nice job, MadMaxine!
Trump NEVER said to "confront" (here's his actual speech Transcript of Trump's speech at rally before US Capitol riot (apnews.com)) .....and he got impeached.

"Fighting for justice" is the language of the civil rights movement. When MLK talked about our "glorious fight for civil rights" no one except morons and racists thought he was talking about physical violence. When one talks about the "fight to end world hunger" or the "fight for the cure" I don't think too many people think of a physical fight. Except maybe on Fox News I guess.
