Apparently Vikings still interested in both Blythe and Lamp. Lamp would be an exciting choice. If he can get past his injuries, he has enormous upside. This was a guy most projected to be a 1st rounder. That he dropped into the 30s was a huge surprise. But can he get past the injuries? And has the time he missed stunted his development too much?

Blythe looks like a good scheme fit, but consistency has been an issue. 2018 he was fantastic. Not so 2019. 2020 was a mixed bag.

Cole and either Blythe or Lamp should provide the Vikings with the kind of depth and competition that will make their guards better in 2021

A G room of: Cleveland, Blythe, Cole, Hinton, plus whatever rookie we add should be able to turn out 2 NFL average quality Gs.
We do not need the ghost of Hutch or the great McDaniel, we need NFL average to see a significant jump on OL play.  ONeill and Brown/Slater/Darrisaw outside with the progressive 3rd year for Bradberry, we could see a massive step forward with quality play.
