It's sure sounding to me like the #Vikings are looking for Mason Cole to battle well for a starting guard job. They're paying $2,151,750 to him plus $31,250 workout bonus. The likes of Dakota Dozier and Brett Jones have made and will continue to make half that.

Cole’s signing bonus money stays on the Cardinals’ books; he gets a $2.151M base and a $31,250 workout bonus as part of his deal with Arizona after the draft. The Vikings inherit the deal, but they didn’t structure it, and none is guaranteed. Keep that in perspective.

He is ranked 35th in pass blocking out of 32 teams so he will fit in nicely.
