So I'm going to put this here rather then put more junk on here.
I'm getting my vaccine today and couldn't be more excited. My mother sobbed for hours according to my brother. He is pissed because he thinks I'm willingly taking a lethal injection. They have went down the Trump rabbit hole so damn far its scary.
He sent me multiple youtubes of doctors saying how I irresponsible it was to have a vaccine yet wouldn't watch one video from the CDC's press conference yesterday on the safety and efficacy their seeing in the vaccine rollout so far.
I don't know how we get our country back? 9/11 seems to be the day we went off the deep end and lost our innocents maybe? Since then we've been at each others throats. Each sides media tells them daily the other side is wrong when in reality its both side being shitheads to each other.

There have been many things that divided us over the generations. Hell, back to a very uncivil war, Vietnam was a huge one.
I still remember an episode of Archie Bunker at the TG dinner table reading the riot act to his best friends kid for moving to Canada vs fight in the jungles of Cambodia. Dont know why that episode as been seared in my memory so deeply?
Maybe I'm getting older and crankier, no not maybe - I am. It's the perpetuation of the big lie from Trump down and parroted by so many that I feel is really damaging and dangerous. It's the closest thing to McCarthyism I have seen in this country.
Maybe the temp in this country cools over time? When herd immunity is reached, when economy gets back on a roll and those poor hospitality and restaurant workers have a chance to pay a bill and buy food again.
I hope so....I want to travel the country again, see Europe, see Jerusalem, give time in the community and go to watch a damn football game live again.

The left wants you to believe there are more then 2 genders and that you can somehow lop off you dick and become the woman you've always dreamed about. Its gotten so crazy kids with undeveloped minds are being given hormone blockers. So instead of treating the mental illnesses these people have we're permanently deforming them.

I firmly believe that Trump wasn't the cause, he was the symptom. So this unrest from the right has always been there, they just haven't felt empowered enough to talk about it? The question that has to be answered here though is what caused people to go down Trump's path? What was lacking in their life or what changed that allowed him to exploit it for power?
End of the day I just want a normal life where we can all mostly just get along again.

Thats a broad brush you're painting with on a very complex topic...As a parent of a gender neutral child, I can assure you my beautiful angel of a kid is not mentally ill. I absolutely believe there are many (well balanced) kids who more deeply relate to being the opposite gender (fixed) vs what they were physically born into.
I knew from very, very early on my kid was different. From like 5,6, 8 years old. Baby, they were absolutely born this way.
I couldn't be happier for who they turned out to be, for the good they bring to those around them and that the world is a better place with them here creating art for others to enjoy.
