We Should Be Enjoying The Combine

Hopefully it's back next year. Maybe some of the bigger Pro Days will get network coverage.

I did see that the NFL Channel will have daily pro day coverage which is surprising given the emphasis on distancing. If they moved their coverage to prime time, it would be the highest rated show in it's time slot. Smile

It's such a key tool in the evaluation process because it puts everybody on the same field under the same circumstances to compete. Most pro days are geared towards the college coaches featuring their guys in hand picked situations to showcase their talents in the best possible light.  The draft this year is more of a crapshoot then any other year with the shortened college season and player opt outs, so the combine is certainly missed

I don't understand how NFL teams are gonna somehow put together accurate draft boards.

All boards are based on info.

And in this case the info just isn't there.
