It's Not Me, It's You

T Isaiah Wilson said in a since-deleted Twitter post that he's "done" with the Titans. “Im [sic] done with football as a Titan…,” Wilson tweeted Monday night. “No further comments.” The post, since deleted, is the latest development in an ugly, ongoing spat between Wilson -- Tennessee's 2020 first round pick -- and the organization. Wilson played four snaps in one game for the Titans in his rookie year before the team placed him on the Reserve/Non-Football Illness list. Titans general manager Jon Robinson said the team has "tried to exhaust a lot of resources" into helping Wilson, to no avail. It appears the relationship between Wilson and the team is close to irreparable.

He was quite a reach when the Titans took him in the 1st round. Just a rookie and he's already been suspended for violating team rules, had a DUI, arrested for trespassing and jumping out of a 2nd floor window at an off campus party. Yes, Isaiah, sounds like the Titans have been mean to you.

Severe maturity issue. Watch him end up with the Steelers.

Or the Patriots and then turn into a probowler.

That golden touch may have ended in 2019

That didn't last long...

We have waived T Isaiah Wilson.

Miami Dolphins cut tackle Isaiah Wilson after efforts to help him failed, source says

This is true and sad. The #Dolphins have tried to help, but Isaiah Wilson has indicated he doesn’t want help right now. So, the former first-rounder has been released.

Among the incidents that led to the #Dolphins waiving OT Isaiah Wilson, per sources:

- Hours late for his physical
- Late for his onboarding process
- Didn't show up for voluntary workouts he had committed to Thursday and Friday

Team tried to support him, but now moving on.

A very Dimitrius Underwood-esque first round pick

I was just reading about him. What a tumultuous year he had with the Titans. Forget about football, I hope he gets himself together as there is a lot of regret in his future.

So strange, you play for free for 3 years and play well enough to get drafted in the 1st round.  First pay check and you are done.  Would love to see a follow-up article on Underwood to see how he is living now.  http://www.lostlettermen.com/article/4-2...-underwood
