So, the Saints released Easton today. Should the Vikings be interested? He had a couple concussions this season and was Andrus Peat’s backup. Would you sign him?

Tires should be kicked. Basically, anything will a pulse that can play LG would be an improvement.

Agreed...Easton had what, maybe a decent but not spectacular good years after bouncing around with several teams.  He's not what the Vikings should pick up.

We can do better than Easton, and i'm sure we will. But right now the only real guard on the team is Dru Samia. Vikings should bring Easton back...as depth hopefully. But in terms of PFF grade, he's already an upgrade over the NullDozier.

4 Year 24 million was a lot for an back up LG.

He played 52% of snaps in NO last year.

His contract was greater than his skill and he benefitted from a lack of Olineman available.

Easton isn't the answer, even as a back up.

Pulse is too low of a bar, he should be able to fog a mirror at the same time.  If we want zone and pass blocking, that should be minimum skill set.  Man we are starting at a low point this off-season.  Hope it's just 2020 malaise and it really isn't quite this bad.
