Why do we keep voting for people like this?

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a real piece of work.

She believes in Pizzagate, that Charlottesville was an inside job, the conspiracy theory that Jews are trying to replace whites with migrants, and called Sandy Hook and Parkland false flags, among a couple dozen other batshit crazy things....Here she is harassing Parkland victim and gun activist David Hogg.

My wife asked me how the state that put Warnock & Osoff in office voted this way?

I reminded her purple is the combination of blue and red.

She's a bad asz, in a very bad way.

Rural vs Metro is a big divide.  I used to be for uniform high speed internet, but the way Facebook and Twitter has F'ed up some of these folks.  Maybe some time and effort going into town and going to the library  may curb some of this stuff.

The elected are just symptoms of a much bigger problem.

True. There are pockets of crazy all over the country...and if those pockets represent a district, you get crazy in congress.

The problem is today, with social media, pockets of 'crazy' can connect, validate themselves and galvanize. That is really the issue. We've always had crazy. But before, if Crazy Ass X lived 40 miles away from Crazy Ass Y they never got together. They were just their respective 'Town Morons'. Nobody paid attention to them and they gained no steam. Now the crazies can gather online from all over the world and it gives them the validation to be bold. And those other I'll call them 'potential crazies' (those that only thought it but never really vocalized it) also are emboldened to come out of the closet if you will.

yes, considering the majority in the house, white house and their half of the senate, there is a huge problem in this country.

The aforementioned Warnock for example.  SMFH

The “look at me” mentality.

worse is the fact that she is trying to instigate (and subsequently film) a confrontation.

smart young man, you simply don’t engage. When he doesnt bite, she has to go on ranting.  UGH.

This might be just me, but I think the side of the aisle that just inspired an attempted coup MIGHT be a bigger problem...
