A Ravens fan watching that offense all year...
Jackson is quite the athlete, entertaining as hell.
And yet as a long time Vikings fan? I knew as soon as Bills took a lead, The Ravens were done.
Winning with that offense? Not sustainable in the playoffs. You just cant be one dimensional.
Agreed. Texted my buddy who is a Ravens fan saying I dont know if Lamar can lead a team to a title. Their receivers arent very good as a unit but Lamar is just so inconsistent as a passer and immediately panics when his first read isnt open
I agree Lamar hasn't proven much in the playoffs but his weapons are capital T Terrible.
Mark Andrews drops balls every game, Hollywood is a decent deep threat, and Washed Willie Snead is their other best chain-mover. That bunch is really bad.
And at RB they have Gus Edwards who's ok, JK Dobbins who's ok with potential, and Mark Ingram who's more washed than Snead.
I'd take Dalvin, AT, JJ, and Irv before I'd take a single one of their skill position guys. I wouldn't hate to have their O-Line though...
Bills were a better team than Baltimore all year and they were a better team last night. Not surprising.
It hurt my heart to watch Diggs last night...
One of my tough nights watching football...
- Packers: They figured it out in short order and are very good. I predicted them playing the Superbowl with a very good chance at winning it. Why does it take us forever to build our team?
- Bills: Young and exciting team. Many said Allen was not "it". Well, he proved this year he was it. Was very happy for Diggs at the same time pissed off that he was right about the construction of our team. Could not help getting pissed of with how many times they said he was elite (more jealousy than anger)
My superbowl picks again. Packers Vs Bills/Chiefs. I really hope I am wrong about the NFC pick.

Yea, I have been saying for months that the Pack made some real good moves that were paying dividends. Getting rid of McCarthy and Thompson. LaFleur seems to be the right guy to get the most out of Rodgers and the team. Sucks that they might have figured it out before Rodgers clock hit zero. Anyway, I have used these organizational moves as an analogy of what we could have done after the 2018 and now this season. We could have moved on from Zimmer and maybe even Spelly. We could have been sitting with in house Paton/Stefanski or another combo. I have lost all confidence in Zimmer being our guy to get us to mecca.
I know I have to get over it (again) but I am expecting the same conversation at the end of next season. You will have the one more year Zimmer/Cousins crowd who will say we are in too far now. Well a few of us thought we were in too far 2 years ago and every year we are told to go with the flow. Wash/Rinse/Repeat.
Now we enter this draft with the excitement of the #14 pick and the thought a 3T or OL is all we need to get over the hump. Aaaarggg!
The packers (f**ck***) made some bold decisions just in time. We continue to hope that all the stars will align for us to get a Wild Card spot next year, ya know we were only 1 win away
Yep, I have turned into a debbie downer after being beaten down by 2020 Covid.

I was super happy for him. He is right. Run first offenses are dinosaurs in the league. Look at the Titans. They kept trying to get Derrick Henry going but once he was stopped, they were done. I miss Diggs but wish him well.

Good analogy. The results with the run-only Ravens are another. Also, I think the Browns (run heavy) are doomed today as well.
The old running the ball and great defense wins Champs is gone. It is now dominant passing game, decent run game and decent defense playing better into the playoffs wins. That is why the Packers are looking really good. Their offense is more balanced then any remaining team with dominant passing game and a defense that has been playing better and better...IMO They did Bakarahi (??) so that could hurt but it didn't yesterday.

We'll never have this info but I'd love to get an age breakdown of Zim supporters is, versus his doubters. I have a feeling the impatient, disloyal millennials are ready to see him go. While the long-suffering, loyal fans respect what he's done and are fine with running it back.

Well I am on the younger end of millennials being a 55 year old Viking fan for about 46 years.
