But guess what? Belichick is wrong, everyone commending Belichick's decision and calling Trump out is wrong.

They both are "right" because they:
1. Have many black friends on Facebook or hired black people

it was meant to lighten the tone, but in all seriousness, obviously this country has a huge array of ways of defining what is or isnt racist behavior/etc, so why not before anybody else throws out the racist label on this forum we have some sort of concrete definition of racist/racism, that we can agree on, then use that as the bench mark to compare future acts to? it should be easy shouldnt it? after all that label gets slapped on this so frequently lately that a firm definition should be at everybody's finger tips... no?

This whole thing is an illustration of how racism is still a deeply rooted issue. To say it doesn't exist is absolutely ridiculous. It is in education, housing and various systems throughout society. The fact that storming the Capitol building is treated differently than people actually protesting injustice shows how racism is occurring. There is no economic anxiety from many of these traitors that went to DC. There were many doctors, lawyers, law enforcement and military among the crowd. Some that were arrested were already released. The so-called law and order crowd beat a police officer to death with a fire extinguisher and Trump flags. An air force veteran was killed there and she had some disturbing videos up online. There was an Army psychological evaluations officer in the crowd. There is so much to unpack and it's only just begun. It is important to acknowledge that domestic terrorism comes in all races and classes. Racism is not even close to being gone from society.

I am not denying its existence, but I dont agree that it is the root of every action, a liberal finds offensive, committed by a white person as it has been applied the last 10 years or so.

Woke is a whole other thing. To me, woke is very extreme. Nothing extreme is good. And of course it isn't the root of every action, but at the same time its at the root of more things that many white people give it credit for. Because like I said, its tough to relate if you haven't been discriminated against in your life. My wife is Jewish....you can't believe how much outward racism there is out there against Jews. Mind blowing. I grew up in an area where there were zero Jewish people and zero black people: but guess what kinds of things I grew up saying? You didn't get screwed in a business deal, you got 'jewed' out of it. And the infamous 'Eenie, meenie, minie, mo...catch a n____r by the toe'. Horrible. I didn't know any better, I thought those were normal terms. Then I learned they weren't. And the Savannah-Facebook friends thing is so hilarious because he's desperately trying what a lot white people do: the 'I've got black friends' card. I played college basketball where there were 3 white guys and 9 black guys. I was friends with several black players on the football team, etc. But I don't have to prove anything to anyone, especially someone like Savannah. They weren't my 'black' friends, they were just my friends or teammates. I grew up without being racist but saying racist things because that's what I was taught.....in an area where people weren't even exposed to minorities! Its so stupid. Racism is taught, point blank. And anything taught can be re-taught.

There are people going to different state capitols across the country. Michigan just banned open carry at the Capitol. I think that is a good thing. There are way too many people out of control. It has been boiling over. The attempt to kidnap the Governor of Michigan was dismissed by many. The mayor of DC and the Governors of Maryland and Virginia are telling people not to attend the inauguration because of these fuckwits. These are some ugly times right now.

And don't use the race card, that was not about social justice, that was about assholes using a cause to stir shit up. Where was the outrage then. This is all bullshit. The fact you can’t understand the difference between a group of people that have been illegally targeted by law enforcement for centuries, that they are beaten, shot and killed due to their skin color and they are fed up with the lack of accountability from white cops being held responsible .... marching for equality, freedom and civil rights.
