Senate and Congress Invaded. WHERE IS THE PRESIDENT?
Bill Belichick (a Trump supporter) declines the Presidential Medal of Freedom offered by Trump - a failed president.
But guess what? Belichick is wrong, everyone commending Belichick's decision and calling Trump out is wrong.

Trump did nothing bad and @savannahskol sees nothing wrong with Trump's actions either.
They both are "right" because they:
1. Have many black friends on Facebook or hired black people
2. Contributed to create this site or are rich
3. Begged to come back to the forum or run for president

Perhaps this should have started with an agreed upon definition of "racist"?  Obviously that seems to be the disconnect here.

( this should be entertaining) (popcorn emoji)
This is some funny post. Thanks for the laughs
it was meant to lighten the tone,  but in all seriousness,  obviously this country has a huge array of ways of defining what is or isnt racist behavior/etc,  so why not before anybody else throws out the racist label on this forum we have some sort of concrete definition of racist/racism, that we can agree on, then use that as the bench mark to compare future acts to?  it should be easy shouldnt it?  after all that label gets slapped on this so frequently lately that a firm definition should be at everybody's finger tips... no?
That's silly. Its like defining pornography. It should be easy to define, right? As Justice Potter Stewart said: 'I know it when I see it'.....or hear or read it as the case may be. I also know when someone is playing the race card, which I hate.

Yes, what we are going to go in a Viking's football forum is 'define' racism (eye roll). It is a funny post!

so by justice stewarts quote... its basically how you see it? ( thats no definition)  so how can it be so bad if there is no definable line to cross?  what makes it perfectly acceptable in some cases but not others?   its a fucking joke.

perhaps if people on a football board cant define it,  then they shouldnt be so quick to accuse others of being what they cant define.  what I consider as true racism is disgusting as such its a word I dont like seeing applied lightly and it gets tossed around here way to often.  so if people cant define it they shouldnt be using it.
Perhaps its just harder for some to actually realize racism exists. Its much easier for a white guy from the Dakotas to think that. Saying its not easily defined doesn't mean a person can't recognize it, that's the whole point of the quote. Its just another way for white people to dismiss something they can't relate to.
Quick to accuse or quick to excuse? What's worse? All depends on your perspective and who's affected.

This whole thing is an illustration of how racism is still a deeply rooted issue. To say it doesn't exist is absolutely ridiculous. It is in education, housing and various systems throughout society. The fact that storming the Capitol building is treated differently than people actually protesting injustice shows how racism is occurring. There is no economic anxiety from many of these traitors that went to DC. There were many doctors, lawyers, law enforcement and military among the crowd. Some that were arrested were already released. The so-called law and order crowd beat a police officer to death with a fire extinguisher and Trump flags. An air force veteran was killed there and she had some disturbing videos up online. There was an Army psychological evaluations officer in the crowd. There is so much to unpack and it's only just begun. It is important to acknowledge that domestic terrorism comes in all races and classes. Racism is not even close to being gone from society.

I am not denying its existence,   but I dont agree that it is the root of every action, a liberal finds offensive, committed by a white person as it has been applied the last 10 years or so.

It's use as a political weapon is disgusting and in the long run will do more to damage racial peace and equality than it will to help it.  There are plenty of black people that are awake to this notion, with more and more coming around all the time.

Yes its real,  racism does exist in America,  but not to the extent that we are to believe by the MSM and the other puppets that throw the term around.

Whats funny is I hear white liberals throwing it at white opponents more than I hear blacks using it to describe their situations.  Maybe woke isnt about recognizing racism as much as it is knowing how to use it to an advantage.

Woke is a whole other thing. To me, woke is very extreme. Nothing extreme is good. And of course it isn't the root of every action, but at the same time its at the root of more things that many white people give it credit for. Because like I said, its tough to relate if you haven't been discriminated against in your life. My wife is Jewish....you can't believe how much outward racism there is out there against Jews. Mind blowing. I grew up in an area where there were zero Jewish people and zero black people: but guess what kinds of things I grew up saying? You didn't get screwed in a business deal, you got 'jewed' out of it. And the infamous 'Eenie, meenie, minie, mo...catch a n____r by the toe'. Horrible. I didn't know any better, I thought those were normal terms. Then I learned they weren't. And the Savannah-Facebook friends thing is so hilarious because he's desperately trying what a lot white people do: the 'I've got black friends' card. I played college basketball where there were 3 white guys and 9 black guys. I was friends with several black players on the football team, etc. But I don't have to prove anything to anyone, especially someone like Savannah. They weren't my 'black' friends, they were just my friends or teammates. I grew up without being racist but saying racist things because that's what I was taught.....in an area where people weren't even exposed to minorities! Its so stupid. Racism is taught, point blank. And anything taught can be re-taught.

Do I think all MAGA members are racist? Of course not. But MANY are.

In addition to the election was stolen bullshit propaganda, a Jewish man won a Senate seat and the first black man won a Senate seat in Georgia. I think that loss of control set some people off. There are people going to different state capitols across the country. Michigan just banned open carry at the Capitol. I think that is a good thing. There are way too many people out of control. It has been boiling over. The attempt to kidnap the Governor of Michigan was dismissed by many. The mayor of DC and the Governors of Maryland and Virginia are telling people not to attend the inauguration because of these fuckwits. These are some ugly times right now.

How are these fuckwits different than the violent protesters that took over our nation's  big cities this summer?  And don't use the race card,  that was not about social justice,  that was about assholes using a cause to stir shit up.  Where was the outrage then.  This is all bullshit.  Either people need to call it all out as criminal and demand investigations and prosecutions,   or people need to stay on the sidelines.  The outrage now by those silent all of 2020 is purely political.

The fact you can’t understand the difference between a group of people that have been illegally targeted by law enforcement for centuries, that they are beaten, shot and killed due to their skin color and they are fed up with the lack of accountability from white cops being held responsible .... marching for equality, freedom and civil rights.

Also it’s been talked about - rightwing angry white guy arrested for vandalism while in the BLM crowd?

https://www.forbes.com/sites/mattperez/2020/07/28/mystery-umbrella-man-vandal-from-minnesota-police-say-hes-a-white-supremacist-instigator/amp/

Here’s another one arrested for shooting at the precinct:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/10/23/man-linked-far-right-boogaloo-bois-charged-after-allegedly-firing-ak-47-minneapolis-precinct/?outputType=amp

So many of these violent, destructive acts came from angry white supremacists, not BLM supporters.

Contrasted with an attempted coup, when a bunch of angry white people who are convinced an election was stolen (when it wasn’t) because they have been egged on by their racist leader for years, and decided to violently overthrow the government and kill cops in the process.

Jesus Christ Jimmy .... if you honestly can’t see the difference here because you think it’s politicial?

You are the very definition of white privilege flirting with racism.
