Second quarter and Browns up 28-0.
I can't believe what I am watching.
Someone pls explain this to me. It cannot all coaching and preparation or is it?

I discount drafting because most of these players have been around without much team success until now
Since 2010 Cleveland has had SEVEN top 10 picks. In 2017 and 2018 they had two straight #1 overall picks. They've had a very talented roster now for about two or three years and have been a very trendy playoff pick each of those years. That roster of young, 1st-contract talent--including the QB, Myles Garrett, Nick Chubb AND Kareem Hunt, plus one of the best OLs in football--is now hitting its 3rd and 4th season together. That's the biggest reason for their success.

I think Stefanski is a very smart guy and he's probably getting more out of Mayfield than most coaches would, so I don't want to take anything away from him, but he moved into an emerging situation that required only one thing: a coach who wasn't a bumbling idiot.

Guys, I do think Cleveland is a good club and I think Stefanski has made a difference, but c'mon. Fumble recovery to start the game for a TD, Roethlisberger threw 4 INTs and they had short fields on 2 of the next 3 TDs after turnovers. A playoff team should be able to hold onto a 28 point lead after the first quarter. You entire gameplan is out the window for the Steelers being down that much that quick.

I'm not crowing anything in Cleveland yet.

I dont think it's really about crowning them as contenders, but more of a "They came into the division champs home and mopped the floor with them and finally got that playoff monkey off their back". I think this allows them to play with less pressure as last year and this year was about getting to the playoffs. I'm happy for Stefanski and Baker, I hope they have a lot more playoff victories together

Of course not,  they play the chiefs next,  but to go into heinz field missing as many coaches and play makers as they were and to come out firing like that is pretty remarkable,  the let up is understandable considering the lack of playoff experience and not having all the coaches around to keep them focused and make the adjustments.

Hell Zimmers teams and all their years of combined experience still piss away massive leads.

We should have offered Stefanski the coaching job last year and let Zimmer go.
Instead we renew Zimmer's contract.  :/

Saints is the only team Zimmer is able to beat. He has Peyton's number.

Coaches leave and then they are successful. Kudos to Stefanski and crew. I think if they would have lost to the Saints, he might have been fired but it didn't work out that way.
