interviewing candidates while their respective teams are in the playoffs is horseshit.

seriously, the NFL cant have candidates wait until their team is eliminated to interview?

I'm not sure about that. His process is very strong, close to a Saban or Belichick in that regard. His record in college is 187-32. 12-3 in Bowl games. That is prolific success. He's going to be getting Trevor Lawrence as the Jags coach (if the rumors are true). 

I don't know that I'd bet against him, especially if the table is set a bit like it would in Jacksonville.

Only problem in Duuuuuval county is Shad Kahn thinks he's Jerry Jones. He had final say on the roster in 2020 and plans on continuing that. Not sure any top tier HC candidate is going to put up with that.
