So are we united now?

Best thing for the Vikings at this point is to finish 6/10...

6-10 would be Zimmer's worst record and I truly think he will work to avoid it. If he finishes 7-9 he can pound his chest about going 6-4 over the last half of the season...as if a coach in his 7th season should get a mulligan for the first 6 games.

Sunday's loss means that Zimmer is 1-5 against the Bears' Matt Nagy, & is 1-3 against Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur, by any standards wholly unacceptable...! If you can’t compete in your own division, you should be replaced.

Yes, seriously after we lose to New Orleans on Christmas and are officially eliminated....time to shut this thing down against Detroit.  No point in guys like Cousins, Cook, Kendricks, Jefferson, or Thielen even seeing the field

There's going to be more veteran cuts this offseason on the Vikings. Minnesota took a swing with Cousins and they thought by this point they could have been in a NFCC game or two at the almost completion of Kirk's 3rd year in Minnesota. Didn't turn out that way and now they are paying the price for taking that swing without the success they thought they'd have. Worst case scenario is realized. Its just not Kirk's contract, it was resigning Barr, etc. to bolster what they thought was a Super Bowl quality type roster.

So......they are stuck with Cousins for 2 more years....but really, Cousins was never the problem. Drafting a high upside potential athletic QB in round 3 or 4 to sit behind Cousins just seems like sound strategy.
