Stefanski was awful when he was here and as much as Zimmer has messed up, Stefanski will never be half the coach Zimmer is. Cleveland has to be one of the most overhyped teams in the league. They have beaten two teams with a winning record all year. Let's wait for them to actually do something before we crown them and Stefanski.

Like the other coaches that leave, Stefanski gained his experience here in order to do something better elsewhere.

He had to try and follow Zimmers marching orders, hard to say how things may have been different if he wasn't micro managed, the same goes for defillipo. I think norv leaving like he did was a result of Zims unwillingness to open the offense up more to male play calling easier. It's got to be tough to make Zimmer happy with the play calling and still consistently move the chains and more importantly the score board.

They did, no doubt. Really good weapons. One of the best lines in the league. But they've had a playoff roster for a couple years now and no one before could make it work.

The biggest thing has been Mayfield's progression. Is it natural 3rd year growth that would've happened anyway? Or is some of it due to Stefanski?

This is where I'm at too. The offense is really good...defense is quite shaky which is weird considering some of the names they had. Baker was awful last year and that sucked because I'm a big Baker fan. He was fat and the offense with Freddie as HC just did not work. You toss in Stefanski and he knows the RB's that are in his stable and he knows Baker can most likely keep them in games.

For those who talk about their record and who they've beaten, let's not turn Baker into Kirk where he's blamed for the loss vs the Ravens on Monday. Defense gave up 45 points...
