It's unfortunate when the coach has to make it a point to state the obvious.  Unfortunately, a few of the guys who are suppose to be leaders on this team are more into themselves and their politics than the team.

Now here's what's eluding my limited intellect: What in the hell does social/media/marketing sponsorship activities have to do with the spread or prevention of Covid-19?

Everything else on that list seemed intuitive as to what you would have to do with people eating, breathing, wrestling, spitting on and showering with each other.

I think it could come into if there is some spreading of false information. They are just covering all the bases. Why not prevent the possibility of an issue if they can.

I won't be surprised if vaccination status is taken into account for bottom of the roster players competing for a slot. It may not be stated, but at least subconsciously it could be a factor.

Have you ever heard any of them sound off on politics in the past?   What makes you think their decision is based on politics and not the result of their own research into the vaccine or some other matter?
