The part of Jefferson's game that has surprised me....
#1
...his functional strength is surprising for a guy with his build. He's stronger than he looks. He continues to shed tackles and plow for extra yards. That second TD he shrugged off a LB to get into the end zone. His game speed is also underrated. But he seems like a pretty durable guy for being so visually lanky.

This guy is going to be a 1000 yard rookie receiver. He is making me forget about Diggs and curing me of my LaQuon Treadwell PTSD, all in one fell swoop. Love, love love this kid!

Agree with both of you.  His strength surprises me for his build and I don't think our passing game has taken any step backwards with Jefferson vs Diggs.

Also, our rookie WR is outpacing Diggs and hasn't even started all the games.  Yards per catch 17.7 and 6 TD's vs 11.8 YPC and 4 TD's for Diggs.

We got very good value for another disgruntled WR like Harvin.  Looks like Spelly got excellent ROI on the trade and the Jefferson pick.

I enjoy watching Jefferson. He needs to get the ball more.

Season could end right now and his production will have exceeded my expectations for him. Phenomenal release and route running. He's playing like a 5year vet. Too bad Herbert is tearing it up.

He's impressive, just about broke 4 guy's ankles on that td play.

What impresses me most is the overall game skill...

I thought he was primarily going to be a slot guy - especially rookie season. But he's flourishing at the X.

He's got #1 WR written all over him.

Forget about comparisons to Diggs, there's another jaw dropping Vikings Rook WR from years past that he comps favorably to statistically...Thats impressive as hell.

i love watching the hometown kid blow it up.  His footwork is as good as Odell and Diggs and his hands are equally as impressive.  The only blunder on what has been an outstanding rookie year is the drop vs the cowboys.  He catches that ball on 2nd and 6 and turns it up field for 20+ yards and no doubt in my mind we win that game.

The only issue i potentially see is that he is so close to Odell personally that he could become diva-ish later on.  But unlike Odell, he was raised in a blue collar, hard working family and had to work for everything he's been given.
