Teddy looked bad today.

I am not a Cousins fan because of his inability to run a two minute drill. And I loved Teddy and have been missing him since he left.

But today Cousins was obviously the better QB.  He moved in the pocket threw accurate darts and spread the ball around.  And above all executed a near perfect Two minute drill to take the lead.

Teddy looked innacurate and unsteady in the pocket.  His passes floated too much even when caught and just looked ill prepared for the game.

Good job Kirk you lived up to the salary you are making keep doing that and I will be a huge supporter. If the defense can tighten up this team may make a run.

If the Carolina kicker made the FG then the storyline would have been about Teddy leading his team to a winning score. No doubt Cousins is more physically gifted, but he is not close to having the leadership skills and football IQ that Teddy has. Not a real fair comparison when you look at the weapons that each QB had today. Carolina WRs dropped so many passes and they had no run game at all.

With  1;59to go in the game, TB  whiffs on a quick  slant

Then watch the 5 throws Cousins makes.

Carolina was averaging around 7 yards a carry through the first half of the game.  We couldn't stop the run.  Why they gave up the running so quickly surprised me...Glad they did  though and we won the game.

JR is our resident excuse maker for Bridgewater.

Bridgewater also had all day to throw. That balloon ball was ridiculous he threw on the last drive and should have been intercepted.

With a FG that long, I don't know how much credit Bridgewater would get or deserve. Maybe if he had thrown a pass to a place where his receiver could get out of bounds, and had completed another pass so the chance of making that FG were more realistic, you would have a story about a Bridgewater comeback.

They screwed the pooch not running the ball towards the end, taking time off the clock. Zimmer thanked them for that post-game.

Lets put Teddy the person aside. Most agree he's a great story and nice kid too.

But Teddy the QB? Teddy is what he is, average...Anyone not seeing it by now is just stubborn, blind or both.

Will always love Teddy, the person. However, I have never been a fan of Teddy the QB. He is just not that good, I have been on Cousins for ages but really think he is twice the QB Bridgewater is.
