im waiting for it to come out that he had a broken rib on the play and that caused the puncture,  I have never heard of such a thing without something that actually could do the puncturing.

that would make so much more sense but it is super odd if a cleat did this to him.

Perhaps the extra long cleats worn at Lambeau played a role in this...
