The majority of my conservative colleagues are very bullish on Trump's re-election...

Man, so many data sources out there that you can leverage to tell "your story"

That's just it. I can craft a narrative where Trump wins electoral college in this election. He wins Florida and Pennsylvania and there is a pretty decent chance that he pulls this off again. And those states aren't impossible for him to win.

I can also craft a narrative where Biden wins in a landslide. Georgia or Texas and one of the above would do it.

What I can't see is Biden losing the popular vote. Not that it means anything. It means nothing. But if Biden loses the popular vote, I'll eat my mouse.

So here's the math. If every poll is off by 2% currently favoring Biden (the only way Trump can win is to have this be true) then Trump would have 263/270.
He would need MN or PA to get over 270 both of which currently has Biden +4.
Trump would need to win all of NC, FL, GA, OH, IA, AZ, TX to get to 263.

PA cant even start counting mail in ballots until the 4th. We wont have results for a week from there if they end up mattering.

President Donald Trump says he's preparing for legal challenges to the counting of mail and absentee votes in Pennsylvania. Speaking to reporters in Charlotte ahead of a rally in Hickory, NC Trump says: "We're going in the night of — as soon as the election is over — we're going in with our lawyers."
Trump has repeatedly attacked the Supreme Court in recent days for not blocking the counting of late arriving ballots for days after Election Day. Trump aides believe Democrat Joe Biden has a substantial lead in early ballots but are betting on strong Republican turnout Tuesday to pull off a win,

I really hope there has been big turnout's for the last Trump rally's in PA.   I feel the answer is obvious, but what is the big fear of counting Americans vote, and making sure they are legal?

For Pennsylvania, he's crafting a "blue wave" narrative in advance of what will almost certainly be a big Trump lead early on election day (led by in-person voting dominated by republicans) only to see it slowly disappear as mail-in ballots (largely from democrats) are counted and start to chip away at his lead.

This is what's going to happen. Everyone knows this is what's going to happen. The only question remaining is the degree to which it happens.

But since Trump's team knows this he can plant the seed of "malfeasance" early on, declare victory well before all the votes come in, and Trump voters who don't know any better will see a "stolen election" happening in real time.

Mark my words.
