Justin Jefferson is already a stud in this league...

What a pick.

He's legit. A new QB, Cook and Jefferson you can build on. But that is 2 years off because of Cousins contract.

It's nice to see a bright light in the midst of the shit show. I am glad his family got to see him do well.

Jefferson has definitely been a bright spot this season. He's a star in the making and I can't wait to watch how he progresses as a player. Another bright spot of late is that we are seeing Irv Smith become a factor in the offense.

I was wondering when we were going to see more of ISJ and we're seeing it.

I love what Rudolph brings, but it sure feels like his days here are numbered now.

I do think we need to ride this losing streak out to the top of the draft.  not because this team is  tanking on purpose, but because we need to develop these young corners, offensive line and linebackers.

Draft a QB next year.  Cut Cousins (I understand it would be a 20 million dollar cap hit for one year)  and sign Keenum next season to transision.  Cut Barr, Reiff and sign a guard if one doesnt develop.

Then build everything around a new athletic QB.

Throw in an offensive-minded HC too and you have laid out the best case scenario, imo.

I'm in agreement, but I think the cap hit for cutting Cousins is actually much worse. I think if they cut him soon enough, it would "only" be $41M over the next two years, and could be as much as $56M if he is on the roster on the 3rd day of the 2021 league year.  But I think there is no escape from that and the GM who gave that extension needs to go with him.

Jefferson is going to be the only reason I continue to closely follow every remaining game. Here's to hoping he wins Offensive ROY
